Next Thursday is the release of World Update 18: Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, along with Local Legend 19: Focke-Wulf 200 “Condor”, if you are wondering what that Gamescom livestream will likely be about.

Gamescom is usually the place where people get their hands on soon to be released games. Though it seems thats not happening with FS2024.

It was VERY underwhelming
there was nothing about 2024 except the date (that we already knew)
Well, they very clearly said that it would not be about MSFS 2024 but would focus on WU 18 instead. So that was not very surprising. See the link I posted five days ago in this thread.

no surprise there. for delaying new info until the alleged September Dev blogs, it’s really frustrating. Their FSExpo was underwhelming essentially just slow-mo of their original year old trailer.
Underwhelming? I’d say it was very interesting. I took several pages of notes from the things they said while going through the trailer, the additional videos they showed, the partner announcements that were not part of the trailer, and the Q&A at the end.

To each their own, but imo and I’m guessing some others may agree, we were hoping to see a lot of new info, videos, tech details etc and not just a broken down version of a trailer from a year old.

We previously announced that today’s MSFS presentation at Gamescom would be about the new World Update and Local Legend, not Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Please see this post from @Jummivana last week (which was also linked earlier in this thread).

Did not see that post. Thanks. But none the less a slow trickle of new information vs just rehashed info. Looking forward to these final few months to get new info and questions in the streams finally answered
Jorg already said in June/July that in September they’ll start giving us news about 2024.
I honestly don’t know when in September, but I expect next Dev Q&A(sep | oct) session will be about 2024.
But yes, I’m with you that they’re delaying too much answering questions related to 2024, I’m a bit suspicious of why.
