Yep, the XBox USB cable is what I’ve done temporarily. Eventually I plan to remove one of the two wireless functions from the internal card. The cord now is kind of a pain the way I use the laptop, literally on top of my lap. Every time I have to get up, I have to worry about snagging the thing.
