What the title says: Is there a way to disable addons on Xbox without deleting them (and having to download them again later)?
I read that the G1000 NXI mod may be causing crashes in the Kodiak, so I want to try removing it for a while. Also, I’m becoming curious about Bijan’s seasons packs and I understand that I have to enable just the one I’ll be using.
Currently, any addons from the Marketplace are always active unless you uninstall them from your Content Manager. There is no way to keep an item installed but enable/disable it on demand. If you’d like this feature added in a future update, please submit a Wishlist topic here:
@SeedyL3205, you call this a solution, but in my opinion, this an unsatisfactory method of accomplishing what the OP wants to do. MSFS AddOns Linker performs this task perfectly but is not compatible for XBOX users. Why can’t this be coded into MSFS?
I flagged my post as the solution because it correctly answers the question from the OP: there is not currently a way to enable/disable Marketplace addons at-will from within the sim. It doesn’t mean the issue is resolved, only that the question has been answered.
