I cannot see PMDG being willing to or foolish enough to stake their reputation as the premier sim model builder on a bunk partnership with MS/Asobo to bring their aircraft to the Xbox.
PMDG hasn’t stated they aren’t going to bring the planes to the Xbox. Until they do, I’m operating under the impression that the issues will be rectified and we will see the DC-6 return.
On an alternate Xbox thread, a community manager made a very rare weigh-in on our discussion and reiterated MS’ commitment to the Xbox platform.
It will, most likely, never have the element of customization that the PC does, but it isn’t being treated as a kid’s novelty product.
Give it time.
