On mine and xbox and often and unfortunately, this ends the simulation, not to mention the many CTDs that they never resolve and never will, this has been a fight since the launch of the simulator and they never win and they never will win my friend, I’m sad about this situation on xbox:sob:

I’m also having this problem, and the MFS2020 developers will never solve CTDS and Crash black screens, from me they won’t have 1 cent left in their pocket until they resolve the situation on the XBOX

I’ve had the same problem since I got MSFS on my Xbox. I reached out to support and they told me it is the effect of the system running out of memory. When out of memory, the avionics screens are one of the first rendered things to deactivate in order to conserve memory and keep the flight running. They suggested deactivating any DLCs (free or otherwise), using less complex planes (i.e. not the A320neo v2), and turning off memory intensive graphic settings like complex weather or other traffic. It’s not ideal, of course, but may help for those of us who want to keep flying in at least a simplified state.
Coming to August 2024 and still getting the black screens on most planes and helicopters . Almost every time I get a plane to fly especially with a Garmin fitted. Black screens, some times I switched the avionics on they come on immediately . I thinking that’s good I can fly today. Starting the engines, great. Input a flight plan, turn to another view in the cockpit there it is Black Screens. This problem has been here since the start .Us people who had the MSFS 2020 from the start know this, put up with it thinking they’ll fix it . Having patience with the programmers , they have a lot to do. Still we are here nearly August 24 Black Screens/ sometimes CTD. When will you fix this problem and if not will it continue with FS2024 when we get it?

As I will be flying or mostly during pre departure when I am doing the startup procedure the screens will just go black like every single one including the autopilot one and the will mostly happen when swtiching from external to cockpit view

I thought it was me or just one model, but I’ve had several aircraft, with plenty of fuel, suddenly lose power and experience engine failure - Bell 407, Just Flight Hawk. Just had the Bell 407 conk out again, tonight.
Been successful with the H145 and the F14.
This did happen after the WU and several small updates via the content manager
Yes same here in both free flight and career mode normally around the time i come to arrival. Also bugs out my throttle and i have to use idle and max power presets to control the throttle. Its ruining the game for me
Sorry msfs2020 or 2024? Are we getting black screens in 2024? I didn’t hear that..
Yes, it’s been happening for a while now. Pc12 used to be less frequent but now it’s every single flight every single plane. Making it either difficult to land or Impossible to finish the flight or even begin. It’s beyond frustrating how this hasn’t been addressed yet. I heard that if you don’t touch or edit the EFB you could avoid it, not true, heard that if you don’t edit the FP in the FC, not true. I just hope this fix becomes a priority.
I had this. in SBSP on the taxy way I did external view and when returned to internal view all screens was black. XBOX X - C 17A globemaster.
And very stutters again
