UnitedArt mentioned that he wasn’t enamoured with it - are you finding they traded detail for stability or is it aesthetically pleasing? The promo vid shows some custom animations and a terminal interior but the airport does generally look a bit sparse. Terminal roof looks overly clean and bland but I’ve a few decent airports that looked quite poor in their promo material.
So far only flown into LFLL with the 737 twice. Didnt go well 1st time, made it the 2nd time. So 50/50. I did a startup at the gate twice. 1st time bk screens, 2nd time fine. I used to fly into with the 320 often and it worked fine. (but that was quite awhile ago). I don’t really fly the 320 anymore. Just the “study level” ones now days. For 50% off, I’d say go for it. It’s def not like MKS Lisbon which I rarely make it to the gate. I need to do a test with the ATR and see how it goes. I’ll let you know!
Yes, would be good to know how it is with the ATR as I can fly my Air Corsica example in there on real-world flights.
Another couple of hours around Ini’s KLAX - in various aircraft, using multiple views - and it’s rock solid. Can’t get it to black-screen or CTD, no matter how hard I try. It can be stuttery, though.

I’ve also had pretty good luck at KLAX in the A310 & the 737. It’ll stutter a bit. But if I hold my breath I make it to the gate.
AMSIM LIRP is another good airport with the 737
I was feeling hesitant about KLAX since it might be a gamble, plus Asobo already has their own KLAX so it feels like the money would be better spent elsewhere, but if it’s that impressive I might go for it. I’ll take today to think about it.

You see a lot of CTD avionics issues around periods where updates have come out or new aircraft released where there are a lot of people playing the sim. Then it seems to calm back down again
I think LHBP Budapest by LHSimulations looks good for the sale price. Flew a Bell 206 around it to have a better look, and I think that maybe the texture resolution was lowered a bit for performance. Definitely not Pyreegue or Fly Tampa level of quality, but still descent. Animated people inside the terminal look a little strange though and could have been omitted IMHO. Static cargo aircraft shown in the pictures on the marketplace are not included.
Obviously I can’t guarantee it’s gonna work for you as it works for me but it’s the most impressive Ini airport, in my opinion. It feels… ‘different’ to the others. It’s made me seriously wonder about EGLL, although that has a far lower MP rating. Is it worth a go for the current price? I really don’t know, but if you get lucky…
It is definitely a huge step up from the Asobo version — the hotels that straddle the eastern perimeter alone are worth the investment for me! A few of the textures fall apart a bit when you’re right up close but for regular flying, it’s quickly become one of my favourites. The PG in that area also seems better than in other places (USA PG I generally find pretty good). It does stutter more than any other airport (including KDTW) but this is of far less concern than eternal CTDs!
I’m still on the fence about KOKC. No doubt about the quality but it’s somewhere I can’t see myself flying to/from very often. Is it standout enough to warrant the purchase, would you say?
I can only suggest reading up on your rights as it’ll make it far easier to make your point. They’ll try to wriggle out of it initially but you have to persevere. The key is to remain polite but firm, I think.
My final question, then: would you be pleased had you paid full price?
It’s the most detailed terminal interior from Ini that I own. From the outside, the terminal, buildings, and ground textures are the same as what you’d expect from the other Ini airports. The OKC area is a bit bland other than the fact that you fly somewhat near downtown if you’re approaching from the north. Still no CTDs or black screens.
I would say it’s another great looking and stable airport from Ini. I’m happy with the purchase, but it probably won’t knock your socks off if you’re looking for something special.
It’s not the sim rendition I’m concerned about but the real-world geography of the place. Just somewhere I’m convinced I’ll seldom visit. I love terminal interiors but they have no real longevity - they’re more of a novelty that only keep your attention for your first couple of visits.
Ah, gotcha. Probably not much interesting to see around KOKC.

It’s very flat and is pretty much just fields icl so if you don’t think you will fly into it much it’s probably not worth it for you

Noticed just now that the Marketplace promo images for this have changed - can’t be 100% sure as the weekly blog’s not live yet but it appears to now be the new v2.2. No ‘updated’ in the top corner, though.

Well just bought Budapest and the second I spawn in black screens and CTDs so don’t think it’s as stable as people are saying

I scrubbed it from my wishlist. Opinions are of course subjective so I sought a few and they ranged from just reasonable to pretty poor. No one was waxing lyrical about it. Most did praise the performance, however. Goes to show…
Yeah that’s one of the main reasons I picked it up was heard performance was decent but clearly not it seems
