Ok after several restarts of the SIM and the Xbox console, I still have no Asobo or Black Shark Ai flash screen sound…after this update that I just got tonight…? Can anybody help me with this…? Please ! It doesn’t seem to want to fix itself…?

Hi I’m sorry to hear about your issues I am too having issues since the update yesterday. I have sound on the Black shark loading screens and the game loads up as normal. My problems begin when I go into the world map, the game freezes and then crashes and takes me back to the Xbox home screen. I haven’t managed to paly the game since Monday I’m so tired of things getting worse and worse after each update. It seems that some things get fixed and several issues appear in the process making things worse than they were before. I too am on Xbox series s. I hope you get your fix sorted.

I’ve only loaded up once and didn’t have the sounds either. I noticed the Blackshark part being very stuttery. Still the initial bootup screen takes quite some time to get past, no fixes there, disappointing.
Same here, I’m on the Series X. Crashed twice very slow from start to load to main screen. Controller seems to lock up when selecting

still downloading, it wiped my complete install folder and community folder and is installing everything in a new folder under XboxGames! Very frustrating, waiting for 125GB not counting contents!
Moved to #self-service:install-performance-graphics and tagged #xbox.
I tried to load up a flight this morning and it CTD’s every time. I can’t use my SIM period ! I’ve tried 5 times and it crashes every time. Even restarted my console 3 times to no avail. It freezes when I’m trying to choose an aircraft then crashes. 
Everything was fine Monday night till the update yesterday and now its unusable !
Update : Finally got to fly but here’s the thing: With all weather turned off, no wind what so ever, clear sky’s and the plane is being buffered by wind coming from somewhere. Turned off “Online Functionality” still being buffered by wind from some where. I’m stuck using the same plane cause I can’t switch aircraft without crashing to desktop.
I think I’m gonna do a fresh install start from scratch…and once its up and running turn off “online functionality” permanently !
Update: Just did a console restart with “online functionality” turned off. Seems to be better and I can live with that. The scenery is livable with no online assistance. Still no sound on the Asobo/Black Shark Ai flash screen load up’s and the Xbox screen (white screen with Xbox logo) isn’t there anymore. We’ll see after work tonight if its just luck right now.

Hi, Same here, I’m on the Series X and had 3 CTD. I deleted the wind in weather and still my C172 get buffed all over the place. Went on Auto Pilot whilst doing weather and the 172 just did a nose dive for some unknown reason. In process of doing a complete new install (again) for what we pay for game and box this has gone beyond in being fun.

I noticed that ND1 freezes after update.
No matter what plane, tried A20N and B78X.
Freezing happens after about 15min flying.

This happens if you push ”DATA” button in ND.
Tested B748, B78X and Captain Sim’s B777
Solution: Don’t push that button 
Okay made an observation tonight 10:35 EST. It seems the mysterious wind buffering is associated with the “Piloting Assistance Options” turned on, combined with “Online Functionality” and “Bing Data World Graphics” turned on. The buffering is at its worst. So I only turned on “Auto Rudder”, “Auto Trim” and “Assisted Controller Sensitivity” and turned off “Online Functionality” and “Bing Data World Graphics”. Seems to greatly reduce the amount of buffering. Closer to the ground there’s really no buffering @ 1000 ft. Of course the buffering is more noticeable at altitude above 1000 ft. But not as much as before the settings were changed.
Again I have all live traffic/Ai traffic and weather (never use it anyway), wind, clouds, (I only use high level clouds), rolling cache all turned off. All other traffic is reduced to 50%
1 hour of general test flying with no “CTD” 
11:09 EST: “TBM 930”, TO, Ont. > Sudbury, Ont. Cruise Altitude 5000FT, Full Auto Pilot set. NO CTD and next to no buffering so far. Total flight time 49:52
If you change weather in-flight, diving is possible on autopilot as the barometric pressure changes - i’ve done this switching from live weather to AI weather, its a bit of fun at times 
The patience paid off, after re-installing everything sim is very stable and seems smoother too. No CTD either!

I’m also having issues since update.
No sound on splash screen.
No auto recognition of hotas or TBV1
Cursor locks in position and moves when it feels it wants to play ball.
Unable to manually plan a route of more than one waypoint. I can select to add a second but after I click add custom nothing happens.
Live pause takes a few seconds to kick in not instant as before.
Constant reversion to offline mode even with solid connection.
since updating i noticed a serious FPS issue that drop with time. You can see the FPS dropping and after 4-6 hours FPS is below 10 and sim becomes unusable. Not sure if anyone else had this issue. This occurred with the Salty 748 on long haul flight and happens every time! Tried it 4 times already.
