I just started getting this with SU5 beta… Anyone ever seen 2x popups like this during loading of 2024?
Do you have any addons installed?
A lot, both in community and into the sim itself. I guess it could just be an addon that isnt compatible with su5. It might be difficult to see which one it is though.
If you have any problems, the first thing everyone should do is rename their community folder, start the sim. If no problems, slowly add the community folders back in and see which ones causing the problem. It’s not up to MS to solve third party issues
Im aware. Been a tester for quite some time with other companies. I just wanted to see if anyone has seen it. Google isn’t very revealing. Before I go half anf halving my addons to see which it could be
The best way to figure out which one is the culprit is to do a simple test: move half of your addons out of the Community folder and try starting MSFS. If it works, the problematic mod is in that half. You can keep splitting and testing until you find the exact mod that’s causing the issue.
yeah thats’s what I meant by halving them. I’ve already started as it’s clearly not a common issue. I typically just post first to see if any others have the issue. But this is clearly an addon thing.
To follow-up - SU5 beta appears to be more “sensitive” to duplicate scenery items. No errors in SU4.
I had essentially, two copies of KACK and L35 - by different authors.
It took approx 2 hours to narrow this down.
I WOULD LOVE if the sim could add logging! Clearly it threw these errors at a certain loading of a certain SimObject. Would have been nice to know which one… lol
