For as long as I can remember, I’ve been encountering CTDs when in the vicinity of Chicago O-Hare airport. Stuttering takes place then CTD no matter which aircraft I’m in. I have no 3rd party add ons in Chicago except for DRZEWIECKI DESIGN CHICAGO LANDMARK. I thought this landmark was the culprit but after uninstalling the content, I still end up with CTDs. I know for a fact that I am not the only person saying this. Others are blaming landmark and claiming that completely uninstalling DRZEWIECKI DESIGN CHICAGO LANDMARK eliminated the stuttering and CTDs for them, but not for me. What should I do? Currently, Chicago is like a cursed zone, once I arrive there, I end up with a CTD and I can almost never take off from any of the airports there. Once in a blue moon, I may be able to land or take off from there.
No issues at all in Chicago. Never had a CTD there either even before the last update. But i don’t use any 3rd party landmarks like the one you described.
After uninstalling the landmark and then resetting the rolling cache, I am now longer experiencing CTD or stuttering while in Chicago. I can also take off from any airport there.
This finding points the finger at Chicago Landmark content which goes for around $19 on the marketplace. I reached out to the developer on Facebook and commented on something else hopefully he reads my comment there. There is no direct email address on his Facebook or main website. Speaking of which, you need to create an account just to access their forums. I was unsuccessful in creating an account on their website, I was hit with all types of errors. So sad!
That’s a bummer after you’ve shelled out $19 for the product.
I have plenty of 3rd party marketplace stuff, I receive update notifications for them regularly except for DRZEWIECKI DESIGN CHICAGO LANDMARK.
Asobo, please either fix or remove the content from marketplace so that others don’t end up like me.
