Has anybody given the new iniBuilds YBBN a spin yet?

I have the old Orbx YBBN, which was the red-headed stepchild of Orbx Australian airports even back in 2021 when it was released, as many people felt it wasn’t significantly improved over the FSX version. I found it… adequate.

The iniBuilds version – good grief, it looks spectacular. And that’s not just due to the 2024 graphical improvements, either. The detail level is off-the-charts.

The question, though, is “Is it so much better than the old one that it’s worth $25 (US) or so to upgrade to it?” I’m thinking the answer is yes (I take my Aussie airports very seriously!), but I’d like to hear from anyone who has actually used it in the new sim.

If passengers from Terminal and people outside are not animated I would think twice before getting it as an upgrade.

To wrap this up: I did go ahead and get the iniBuilds YBBN. It’s definitely better-looking than the Orbx version, and more detailed. Kind of resource-intensive, though; moreso than any of the 2020 sceneries that have come over. Nothing too awful though.
