Yoke not showing up in “controls” menu!?!?

Hi all, I have had the game since release and have a pretty much game breaking issue. The simulator won’t recognize any controls I plug into my pc. I have tried reinstalling, using different USB ports, and even force updating drivers. The only thing I can manage to work is my ps4 controller. I am running the steam version of the game. Thanks in advance for any advice. -Ty

Did you try this fix?

If your controllers aren’t showing in-game try this:

  1. Right-click on “Microsoft Flight Simulator” in the Steam Library
  2. Click “Properties”
  3. Change the “Steam Input Per-Game Setting” to “Forced Off”

Just FYI, this fix also works for PS4 controllers.

I was just now having an issue where my PS4 controller wasn’t being recognised by the sim, even though Windows was showing it was connected to the USB port.

Applying this fix then restarting the sim got it working for me.
