Windows 10 With Monitor HDR

I use 55" Sony TV 4K HDR. Hehehe…

I agree. Why by an expensive monitor to play games with when you can get a 45" for almost the same price, and if you add a little bit more, a 55"?

“But oh, it runs in 144 hz”… how many games support that? Old MS dos games running in DOSBox?

My reasoning was a little different. Since I live alone in a small apartment, there’s no reason for me to get a TV and a gaming monitor, since I would be using them one at a time. If I’m gaming on the monitor, the TV is not used, when I watch movies on the TV, my gaming monitor is not used.

Instead, I just got a TV and hooked up my PC to it. That way, it’s just one display for both watching TV, movies, and play games.

I don’t need more than 60 fps anyway, since I play single player RPGs where higher resolution cinematics is far more important than 144 FPS competitive gameplay.

Not many make it to competitive gameplay level.

Personally, i came from a LED Projector (120") but decided that i should stop buying replacement lamps for it every 6000 hours and go with a 55" screen instead for my browsing, youtube and media stuff needs as a TV last longer. And now 2020 working from home required a monitor to connect my laptop to so i got a 45" TV too, the alternative was to get a 30" monitor form just €90 less.

My focus is mostly VR gaming so having a 144 FPS monitor would be pointless.

Can anyone point me out to a good affordable 4K 60hz g-sync/free-sync monitor please.

I’m not able to get a TV since it won’t fit on my desk.

LMAO pretty much 90% of games support +144hz, but whatever helps you sleep at night.
