You cannot take off from a water runway with the selected aircaft

Hello,

I designed a scenery and now I am adding Helipads to it as starting points. To test the scenery I selected the default Bell Helicopter and tried to start from any of the helipads and I got this error:

Any idea?

This any help. few different things to check in replies. Not sure if it will help with helipads or not.

For me it was a case of having clicked two boxes mentioned in last reply on that page for the runway configuration.
Others its to do with no material being used I believe. to be brief.

It happens with the new Start position I enabled for the Helipads. I Selected None for the type since I do not want an H on them. I have a textured surface underneath.

Are you saying you found the issue to be the start position?

Out of interest is this the only thing you have added to the airport or have you already added a runway to your project?
as it mentions in the sdk docs that you need to have atleast 1 other airport object for the helipad to work.
