Your bandwidth is too low (February/March/April 2023)

Same Problem here (Germany). Bandwidth too low. I had this problem also in the past sometimes and very rare (using only 50kbps connection). But after automatic reconnection everything was o.k again.
But now it seems to be a bigger problem (especially in Europe as I am reading here)
The problem occurs permanentely now for me too since 2 days.
IF this is a non Network related problem then Asobo could fix the problem. But I don´t think so, as it seems to work o.k. in the US.
But IF it is network (especially WAN) related problem solving that problem will be very difficult. Then Asobo itself can´t do much about it, and I wonder if Microsoft would be able to fix it very fast.
Because it could be also a Problem with a main DNS Provider in Europe for example and other things that are mainly out of Microsoft´s Infrastructure.

What my interest would be. Are the problems only in Europe, or also in other countries outside the US?

that is exactly what I see right now. Seems to be a server issue. Let us hope, that it will be fixed soon.

What program are you using to display your network connections?

with vpn everything runs smother than before  unbelievable

Indeed, testing it atm

It is NetLimiter

Thank you for the info

I gosh, I am not going to involve into this - it seems very complicated… I feel like I am fixing and tweaking more than I am actually flying… this definitely needs an urgent fix by Asobo/MS.

Its your local time … the elder scrolls issues

The source code offers the time as a utc time; so on the website it is converted based on your local time settings inside the os

  1. Begin: “2023-03-22T10:00:00.0000000+00:00”
  2. EstimatedEndTime: “2023-03-22T14:00:00.0000000+00:00”

I noticed the same error message in combination with, when starting a flight, the progress bar rushing to 80% and then crreping to 100%.

Hmm had hopes that the Simupdate changes something but nope its even worse now.

Now i can´t even fly without the massage popping up right away while start a flight.

Strange thing is the marketplace stuff got downloaded pretty fast and almost used all of my available download speed of 400mbit thats like a 50-55 Mb/s.

But start a flight and nothing seems to come in anymore…

Im also in Germany btw

Also im not willing to use an extra VPN
and so have to pay extra a monthly fee of 10€ plus, just to use a function that i payed for when i buyed the Product that massively advertised the new Realworld streamed Data…

Next to the bandwidth issue I am also facing extremely long loading times again… don’t know what they have done with this update but it is definitely not decreasing but rather massively increasing loading times on my system. Before I spend more hours of my time into fixing without effect, I will do a 1-week MSFS break and see if they could fix it in the meanwhile… no words for that

EDIT: Reset MSFS to its “light” vanilla state without much effort according to “https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4414599136146--Your-bandwidth-is-too-low-for-data-streaming-you-have-been-switched-to-offline-mode-error-message”. Problems and long loading times remain even in default Asobo aircraft. → DO NOT MAKE AN EFFORT TO CHANGE SETTINGS OR INVEST TIME INTO CHANGING THIS SITUATION. THIS IS A MSFS PROBLEM! THIS IS MY RECOMMENDATION!

also germany, look like europe have this errors now, most wat i read?

I am also in Germany with a Gbit connection and had problems with the bandwidth to low message for weeks now. Since SU12 the popup comes even when loading the simulator and I can’t even activate Bing data anymore, because immediately the message appears again.

I have now activated my VPN access via the USA and indeed no messages have popped up since. So this seems to work.

again and again this annoying message. I was hoping SU12 removes this problem, useless Sim until they fix it. Back to DCS in the meantime… Asobo / MS do not reply at all.

It seems related to germany, somehow… I am based in Bavaria.

I wonder if anyone at Microsoft/Asobo will read this thread

Thanks to our votes (we should still keep up-voting this frustrating topic), it is at least part of the regular report.

“We’ll, I‘d be willing to pay a monthly fee, if that would lead to an enjoyable experience.”

Why in earth do you want to do that? Because MS/Asobo has a problem you’re willing to pay for it? I already paid enough for something which is hardly to use. I paid for the game, 150+ airport sceneries and hardware. I think I’ve done my share, now it’s up to them.
