The control system is a bit “eccentric” but you had some nice drift going on. Perhaps Baggage Cart racing should be a “thing” now that we have race tracks?
And now we have helicopters for filming the race from above…

The first time I saw the AN-2 was at a families day at RAF Odiham, she had started a run up the retired runway in front of the flight line, my mate told me that BBMF were letting people on Thumper (PA474 aka City of Lincoln). As my Maternal Granfather had died in a Lancaster in 1944, I was more than curious and headed off to have a look.
There was, approximately, a ten minute queue and she was taking off in five so I turned to walk back over to the two Spitfires… at that point the AN-2 passed me a second time… I’d overtaken her on foot!
The Russians must have a thing about Aircraft ignoring the rules of physics. When the Flankers came to Saint Athan in the Nineties, they were both breathtaking and frightening. Pulling manoeuvres that astonished the watchers on the ground. It is such a shame that the clouds closed in on the Saturday after a glorious week, the crowd would have been in for a treat.
Oh and thanks to you, I now own TWO P-40, already had the Inibuilds version and now I have the Flight replicas version, well it was on sale 
Yes I know Anonov are Ukrainian and Sukhoi are Russian but in the Nineties they were still united in the Soviet bloc.

Thruxton is brilliant. All the BBD stuff is to be fair. Best “non international giant sized” airfield creators IMO.
But yeah let’s get a race on! Maybe it would work without the mod - dunno if they altered the terrain elevation at all but the track is there in vanilla.
EDIT: I can try posting an event on the BBD discord and give the link to the baggage cart. See if we can get some more on the grid! Could be massive fun!!

Baggage cart looks amusing, though the ‘handling’ seems strange at times.
Hah yeah, I guess it’s not meant to go over 10mph really, and when it does it will have a ton of weight to pull in a dozen trailers

Agreed, I have several of their other airfields as well - I am hoping that they will eventually turn their attention to Compton Abbas as Orbx do not seem to be planning to bring theirs across.
Good idea about their Discord - now we need a date. Plenty of UK bank hoilidays coming up next month if you are around.

@AlmondBoat85386 Thanks for sharing that =) The Lancaster is still high on the list of aircraft I want to see in real live! The first time I saw an An-2 was at a local airshow when I was still in kindergarten and I still remember the oil cloud when it started up. The next week I drew the Antonov and after I was finished scribbled over the whole page (including the plane) to represent the smoke… 
Yes! Often old soviet aircraft designs seem a bid crude or rugged, but they often achieved incredible performances.

The Zippy Sport is great, very nice flight model, be sure to make her loose speed on approach. She can land very slow and make 3 pointers very easily. You might be interested to change the default engine sound by redirecting to the CTSL in the aircraft.cfg, this will give you a Rotax engine sound which is more adequat for this type of aircraft.

Yup it’s every 2 weeks but a different location. We just finished the ‘Ring and it was tough! Really needed to wrestle Wilma into submission but it’s almost possible to do every corner… however stringing a clean lap together is very hard.
