Zeppelin NT / Goodyear Blimp (real world Zeppelin NT pilot)

Hi, and thank you for your response.

I completely understand why bug reports need to follow a structured template and focus on one issue at a time. That approach certainly makes it easier to track and resolve individual problems.

However, I also think it’s important to recognize that airships in MSFS currently appear to be only around 20-30% operational. Many of the core aspects of airship operation are either missing or implemented incorrectly. It’s a bit like introducing helicopters without a functional tail rotor: the aircraft may technically exist, but fundamental parts of the experience are not there yet.

The challenge is that there are only a handful of people on the forum with enough real-world knowledge of airship operations to identify these issues accurately. Because of that, I believe the most efficient way forward would be to gather feedback directly from someone with subject-matter expertise, for example in a Zoom meeting or an in-person discussion. That would likely provide far more context than dozens of isolated bug reports.

My concern is that individual bug reports will quickly disappear in the constant stream of new reports. Since airships are a very niche area, they’re also unlikely to receive many comments or votes, which makes it even harder for these issues to gain visibility.

This is about their trip yesterday:

From a project management point of view, when you get your product only 30% done, this kind of bug reporting system does not work. It just pushes the responsibilty to the community to document what the product should be done correct. MSFS should drag somebody out in their team to sit down with the (passonate and free) real world expert. Documenting such large smount of issues should be MSFS’ responsiblity, not the community.

Would it be appropriate to highlight the poll and bug reports in other fora, like Facebook groups to ask for support from the community in voting and underlining the need for the fixes?

Hi guys, believe it or not… I actually suceeded in landing the ship and I can reproduce it. For sure the way of how to achieve it is not the way the original NT would land, but it works at least. I will put some video up soon, maybe without commenting audio since I have no mic around. But I hope it will the community at least to make use of the ship! Still of course love to see the controls and physics being reworked to fit to real world flying behavior.

Hi everyone.

I have now recorded 15 issues in the bug reporting hub. Please give me your support, comment and vote for those to be fixed.

Gone through them and voted. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

I just uploaded a video for take off and landing on YouTube to help people make use of the ship as is and to ask for their support to help improve the controls and behavior of the ship via voting here in the forum. Any comments and additional suggestions are welcome.
