0% Waiting For Authentication Issue Jan 30 2026

Down in US - PC version

12.45 GMT - PC Microsoft Store. MSFS2024.

Still receiving the message ā€˜0% Waiting for Authentication’ and FS2024 appears to be looping.

So, unfortunately, the server(s) are still down / offline and we remain unable to access FS2024.

Please add the msfs-2020 or msfs-2024 tag to your post, depending on which sim your post is about.

I’m currently trying to play msfs2024 on my Xbox series S. Was able to play, yesterday but today I am stuck on the loading screen with the Message 0%- waiting for authentication…

I have reset both the game and Xbox multiple time with no improvement.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game with no improvement

I have disconnected the ethernet cable and re set the internet.

What do I do now?

Before creating a new topic, it would be a good idea to check whether it already exists. The problem is international. Do not touch your configuration, the problem does not come from you.

Guys solution:

You should delete the content inside the cache folder with the simulator closed, then try again to see if it worked, it started working here again.

Just open a free vpn account. It works great.

Interesting. I wonder if local cached data is out of date, they have made some change in the infrastructure, and the client can’t redirect its self to the new services?

That’s a lot of assumptions though, not to mention guesswork.
