Seconded this error, although it CTDs for me after checking for updates but before the main menu. Loading bar is at approx 75%.
- Nvidia Driver updated to latest version
- Windows 11 23H2 22631.3737 fully up to date
- MSFS fully up to date
- Community folder and extra addons cleared out
- Normal mode and safe mode have same CTD
- Rebooted
- Double checked .NET framework 3.5 is installed and up to date
- Paging file set to automatic
- Plenty of extra SSD space avaliable for the paging file to grow
- Rebooted again
