And here we are, a completely new day. I flew the reverse route that I flew yesterday (KFAT > KPRB) and had ZERO stutters on final, landing, rollout and taxi to parking.
Now, is this because data for KPRB was cached from my previous flight, as it was my origin then?
Is the stutter issue related to first load of data?
I dunno, I still don’t get it.
FYI, I neglected to mention that I have no add-ons installed other than Navigraph’s suite of tools via Hub and the 2020 Marketplace port of the JF Arrows Bundle – nothing else installed.
Me too. Tokyo is an absolutely stutter fest now. I opened up bulit-in FPS counter, only to found that the Mainthread and Manipulators were jumping up and down, and most of time were in purple, not even yellow or red, it’s purple.
curious, why are you not using DLSS an update DlSS to 4 .dll 1.310.2.1. everything else looks good on you machine. On that 4090, let it do AL of the phyx work in Nvidia control panel. My 3090 fe handles this sim with no issues.
I’m not using DLSS in MSFS simply because with an RTX 4090 I can play without any performance limitations, even at ultra settings. While DLSS does offer performance benefits, I personally notice subtle visual imperfections - especially in fine details and cockpit textures that my eyes just can’t unsee.
