[A319, A320, A321] Fenix High-Fidelity Aircraft

You have to push the AP disengage button twice!

No, you can not increase or decrease the margin. It is ± 20kt IAS. What you would do in real life is switch to VS ( vertical speed) and increase the speed to the desired value. Be aware, with higher speed, but still on the path you need additional miles to decelerate. As a rule of thumb: you need 1NM in level flight to bleed off 10 kits IAS. So its good technique to go slightly under the VNAV path in this case. On the MCDU progress page you can check you deviation from the path.

You do indeed not need the LS buttons, only approach - BUT the A320 (and I’m pretty sure no other aircraft) has NO RNAV- Autoland capability, as it is considered a non precision approach. At the RNAV minimum the FD will automatically revert to HDG/VS. Autoland is only working for ILS approaches.

Hi, I’m struggling to find / understand the variables for fcu, even though I checked the local fnx320_interior.xml. I don’t use Axis and ohs btw.
Could you maybe share your x-touch mini config file for fenix a320 so I can get a better understanding?
thanks!

Frequency and course have only to be entered in some failure cases (via the rmp or MCDU). In normal ops: select the ILS approach in the MCDU and it will autotune the correct frequency and course. You can check the data on the MCDU Rad/NAV page.

Maybe Then there could be an issue with your system. I just looked at the usage of Fenix “APP” as you say and it’s 0%

Also latest realise keyborad shortcuts for automatic pilot command don’t work

Actually I didn’t remember clearly but it’s mild crosswind, upon landing I have touched down the right landing gear first followed by left and applied brakes, upon reverse thrust it just veered uncontrollably to the right and ram into the grass

Also having some trouble getting a smooth landing, seems odd compared to any other aircraft in any sim.
To be fair I’ve only landed a few times so maybe I’m doing something wrong in setup or just need practice.

Strange, I never run it as admin, it starts automatically and works just fine.

Yeah , same for me. Chicken kitchen cockpit. Looking foward for this mod.

Where you actually flying the Fenix A320 when you checked the task manager?

I’ve noticed that if steer too hard on the ground, it’s difficult to straighten up and just veers off

Hey there, so do you think I can get my VISIX autopilot controller built with Mobiflight to fully work, it has knobs and displays for most autopilot functions and the designer is currently saying he doesn’t know how to get it working on Fenix.? I’ll look at tha KB again also…!

Yes lack of sim acceleration is what is holding me back from purchasing the aircraft right now.

After some adjustments and the new patch I get 10fps more. I have gone from having 22 fps in flight to having 32, all in high graphics. I7 7700, 16Gb RAM, GTX1070 8Gb. It’s still so far from PMDG 737 performance (40fps in flight with same graphic conf.), but we go in the good way.
Go on Fenix, you are doing it good. Other developers badly listen to us, you are the difference, solving issues few days after release. Chapeu!

Do you use rudder only or rudder with tiller when this happens?

It looks like there may have been a project to edit the logbook at one time. As far as I can see it seems to have stalled.
