No idea for #1.

#2 requires you to log into your Fenix account through a web browser and join a different Discord server for customers.

  1. not an expert but should be airplane equipment (so livery) related. check the efb in the relative section

Ah, gotcha…now I can chat and ask questions there. Thanks!

What speed were you going?

If it’s a large, busy airport, selected speed of 180 kts to 8 DME and 160 to 4.
Otherwise, hang out flaps full at 5 DME in managed mode with whatever the Vapp is.

But I think you might be trying to ask that question of @SteveKane

If you were asking me (re: “Go Around route not displaying on map”), I’ve typically already engaged Approach Mode if it didn’t auto-arm, and thus < 210 knots.

When being vectored for an approach you’re supposed to sequence your flight plan so that the FMC can perform the go-around according to the flight plan if necessary. What is the correct way to do this? I thought choosing direct to the final approach fix would be correct but that means the aircraft is now exiting heading mode and goes directly to that waypoint which means I have to be quick and choose heading mode again. I can’t imagine this is the correct procedure. How do you guys do it?

Hi all, I’m struggling with frame rates on the Fenix A320. It seems worse when planning or looking at the FMC?

The PMDG 737 is really smooth. I know it’s like comparing apples and oranges but is there anything anyone can recommend within the Fenix product to increase the performance. I’ve tried the various options within the Fenix menu that opens. It’s a shame as the performance detracts from a great product!

TY

There’s an alternate renderer in the settings you can try, helps a lot of people. If still no joy head over to the Fenix discord where they have more support.

Many thanks will head over to discord

Its one way of doing it then need to pull heading quickly or delete waypoints till you end up with the Centre fix for instance or draw extended centre line from centre fix and it will stay in heading mode but show a dot next to the numbers on the heading just pull it again.

C‘mon fenix, do something. December where is the v2 completion. Of course the319/321 package is gonna take a massive delay either and we probably gonna see the sharklets in msfs2024. Every developer really seems to struggle with this sim everything takes sooo long and delays all the time. I really hope 2024 sim is easier to handle for third parties

Two methods as @carlanthony24 mentioned (with added information regarding the extended centerline):

  1. delete all waypoints that you are probably not going to overfly, which in most cases would be all waypoints prior to the faf or
  2. more elegant: use the direct-to-radial in method. Pick a waypoint on the extended centerline as your direct-to waypoint and enter the reciprocal course into the radial-in field. This way all waypoints other than those after the one you selected get deleted and you’ll get an extended centerline from the chosen fix for situational awareness. However, after doing so you’ll have to revert to HDG mode as well.

In almost all sectors of the economy it’s enormously difficult to get and keep pro’s in your organisation. Be patient and thankfull that we already have an excellent product for our money.

A little offtopic, guys. Where is the A320neo V2 from inibuilds? I intended to compare it with the Fenix to see the level of its systems, but after updating to the SU14 it isn’t there…

not included in beta and delayed cause too many ctd were recorded during beta

Lately, everything is disappointments… :unamused: We have to wait again

Yeah, I was looking forward to that too. It’s in the SU14 release notes.

What are you talking about?! There are so many great aircraft to fly! I have no time to wait for anything.

However, they did add an updated Cirrus SR-22 to replace the inibuilds A320, which I’m flying now…pretty nice! But yeah, to stay on topic, was looking forward to comparing Fenix to Asobo to FBW.
