Agreed! I don’t think I’ve been giving Asobo enough credit because I’ve been so used to having to fly with AIG. Anytime I start the sim without AIG I’m amazed at how smooth it is. Just can’t live without accurate traffic… I’ve tried going down to 50% on the traffic injection (a small improvement)- it’s just so much nicer at 100% haha. I get about 25-30 fps at flytampa airports.

Absolutely. I’m with you I love seeing actual plane models and liveries. My settings in RealTraffic isn’t even that high for parked aircrafts but you do experience true live inbound and outbound traffic some airports more than others as in real life. But regardless it’s a frame eater. I hope there’s a way
Big issue is that many of the AIG models aren’t native MSFS. If they fully convert them to native MSFS format (right now many are basically FSX format tweaked to work in MSFS0, performance should increase dramatically.
Haven’t seen what the roadmap is for this, though.

most of the models are native, just 3 Model Series are FSX, but these are the once used th most (A320,737,767,747).
We still wait for the original developer to convert them, but if you want better performace just remove them

Without delving into the nuts and bolts do Flightplans include any long distance routes? I ask because I get an almost overwhelming amount of traffic around “busy” airports but once clear not very much on routes I would expect to see more, for instance, trans-Atlantic. The ones I do see are often AIG related when I “query” them in LNM.

all real world flights are included, remember even you might think there there is much traffic around the NATs, you might not encouter many airplanes up there. Routes are hard coded atm so they do not follow the daily Tracks

I think many of us GA only flyers would be happy with some GA traffic.

Get RealTraffic it uses AIG plane models. Loads of live traffic including GA
If you’re using AIG with MSFS live traffic, then you’ll also get GA (as long as you don’t let AIG rename the traffic file).
If you’re using AIG with AIG-TC injected traffic, then AIG does provide a very small amount of GA traffic (usually smaller private company jets, etc.). But you can always use the GA mod as described in this post: Adding GA flights with AIG traffic - #9 by PhantomStreak

Have they changed this program? I had to do a fresh install and now im downloading flightplans, except they keep getting stuck when downloading a zip file. The little dialog remains open and nothing happens, no progress or nothing. Anyone know why?

What a bloody nightmare im having. finally got everything up and running again after 4 days and now im getting this problem.
It was simple last time!
I already use RT. AIG’s Traffic controller takes ages to load and is far to unstable for my use.
But PSXseeconTraffic can only work with already converted 3d models.(Like the ones from AIG) It doesen’t matter how precise RealTraffic is, without the propper AI models it can’t show any GA traffic.
hence my question.

I had this all working perfectly the other week until i had to do a fresh install of msfs because of registry errors.
Normally when you install flightplans it shows you a progress and how many files its installing but some airlines like Aer Lingus or Aeroflot for example are prompting me to configure models and when i click install it just shows the dialog box that its installing a zip file. But theres no progress or feedback its doing anything and it just sits there.
Unfortunately, there can be a few potential issues here so it is hard to troubleshoot via this forums. Generally, you need to manually install, it should simply download the zip file and then you can continue by pointing to the zip you just downloaded.
Also, one if their hosts moved servers and that is causing issues with slow or failed downloads. You should contact them via their forums and/or discord and you can get help there.
