report with the logs over at the AIG Forum
I find that the clone mod for departing live traffic doesnt seem to work at a number of freeware airports such as EGLL, EGSS or even at a pay ware airport such as EGGD by pilot plus. It just doesnt spawn the duplicate aircraft.
so free spaces?
There are plenty of free spaces, it just doesnt spawn duplicate aircraft for some reason. Take EGGD, there are at least 20 free spaces. I have ground traffic at zero. It works with default EGLL but use the MKVY version (work in progress but there are at least 30-40 free spaces) no clones of the departing AI the sim produces. Its the same at Stanstead, lots of room but no live departures clone.
I can only suggest you try it Kai. I just watched at least 4 labelled live departure flights spawn at EGSS (liiam version on flightsim.to) and no clones.
So I have just installed the latest update 1.1.0.063 and it completely erased my installed airlines. And, it installed a new shortcut (SYMLINK) to my MSFS community folder. So I’m guessing I shouldn’t use addonlinker for this new version. Not sure why the update would erase the airplanes folder? I also had to reset my “aig-aitraffic-oci-beta” location (on my “J” drive). Wonder if that had something to do with it?
I have just tried to download and use this. The developers clearly have no clue what ‘one click’ really is. I feel like I need a software development degree just to figure out how to use it…
In their defence there is plenty of support on their website, discord even youtube. And they explain what one click means
Why should he do anything to help himself since he can simply post his complaints here?
same here. How can I do?
The feature OCI is just a part of the Software AIM. No one said that the software AIM is one click, only one single part of the software is one-click. And thats the installations process of the airlines (when you have setup anything correctly).
Seriously, the fellow pilots who are sometimes confused by AIM setup and its one-click installations or whatever should try to go through one of the numerous five to ten-minute tutorials that are out there in Youtube. Here’s an excellent example: MSFS | AIG AI TRAFFIC TUTORIAL - YouTube It turns out it’s not that hard to set up the software, just a matter of doing a few steps in the right order.
Yes, it would be better if the app itself had some sort of config wizard or internal help tips, but generally it’s not that hard to figure out what needs to be done. There may be other AI traffic solutions out there which are simpler to install, but they don’t offer nearly as many features and they don’t come free.
ps: some basic info can also be found in Post Beta Release Statement – Alpha India Group
Does live traffic have to be anabled for this to work?
no, it will come with its own flightplans
Awesome thanks.
Really enjoying it. Thanks very much
The new model notification you will get since yeserday is the preperation for the AIG A330 release, you do not need to run the verify process at the moment. Flightplans will be listed as updates as soon as the new model is released We are currently packing all 96 Airlines…
Is it the same install procedure?
when the flightplans are released you will see them in the “update” tab, select them just like you did with the others and you are fine
Thank you AIG manager correct? Sorry new to this and I just about got it installed.
AI Manager provides the method to install the airlines
Traffic Controller will add the Traffic to the Sim
if you need help just check out the youtube videos
You probably also have no clue how many “clicks” were required to get to the same result a few years ago with older sims.
No offence, but a little bit of respect is not a bad idea, especially when this huge programming effort for MSFS that started over a year ago is provided as freeware.
