Airport discrepancies between Flight Planners (in-sim EFB & web-based)

Agree there should not be discrepancies between the airport proposed in a mission and the availability in the flight planner.
Just I checked 3 of the airport in your list and there are available in the EFB (did not check all the list):

LILO

RKRN

ZKWN

I am under SU4.

Can you see them in the flight planner? This is where the discrepency lies. The EFB has it because it is a pre-determined route for a mission. Inevitably, either the departure or arrival airport, for the unmaned or military airports are not represented in the FP ..So it becomes very difficult to predict where the restriced zones are. I am, or rather used to before I stopped using that mode due to maintenace costs, have to plan a route to a nearest airport to get the general gist of the route. SU1 and 2 and 3!

Don’t see them neither. Could you update the title/description to make it clear your are referring to the online flight planner and not the insim one included in the EFB ?

Please see request from Demented Corn to change title slightly to reflect you are referring to the online FlightPlanner.com. Thanks

I’ve updated the title and sprinkled some links to the online Flight Planner through the post body to help it be more clear. Cheers.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: The online flight planner includes airports that the simulator does not. 79WA RNR Farms is available in the planner, the simulator does not have it.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time I plan a flight from 79WA

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Open browser based flight planner, search for 79WA

  2. Open the simulator and search for RNR Farms or 79WA

  3. Notice the sim does not have it. It’s the only discrepancy I’ve found but maybe a thread to note others as users find them would be helpful?

YOUR SETTINGS

If the issue still occurs with no mods and add-ons, please continue to report your issue. If not, please move this post to the User Support Hub.

What peripherals are you using:

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it?

[PC, MSFS 2020 Only] Are you using DX11 or DX12?

[PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use?

[PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share?

MEDIA

Please add a screenshot or video of the issue occurring.

I’m seeing a 79WA Grigg Farm, Quincy when I entered it into the arrival box and the search box. Not sure if that’s the one you’re looking for.
Regards

79WA is in the online planner but not included in the sim at all. My post about it just got merged here.

So this works both ways apparently? The sim has some the online planner does not and the online planner has some that the sim does not? That’s wild.

OP created that report after having identified some airport into the sim that don’t exist in the web-based flight planner what prevents its usage to prepare a mission. Discrepancies should not exist between both planners, title has been updated accordingly so that it covers both ways.

LHTL aka Tököl, Hungary also missing from the web planner. It is a long asphalt ex russian military airport with tower. It is in the FS2020 and FS2024 as well, but not in the web planner. I miss it, because I living here and love to fly from my home airport.

LHTL

Davis Station AT07, shows up as an available airport for departure or destination in the World Map, but not in the MSFS Flight Planner.

At the same time, the larger YWKS Wilkins runway shows up in the MSFS Flight Planner, but NOT on the World Map, so you can’t start a flight here.

Having a hard time with Antarctic airfields.
