The fix has several steps. Some are completed, some are not.
If you notice, ATC has stopped harassment for altitude deviation, but it still reports you at the wrong altitude when referring to you to other aircraft.
Updated simvars have been published and need to be consumed by third party applications. This has not happened yet. It has not happened yet in all places internally to the sim.
EG: flying 12,000 ft indicated with local pressure setting, hot day.
ATC to me: bigjet 123, traffic is 10:00, 3 mi, 15,000 ft, report them in sight.
ATC to other plane: big jet 321, traffic is 1:00, 3 mi, 13,200 ft, report them in sight.
