Any way to reduce the incessant Haze (its bad in VR)?

I installed and spent time with the 2 different configuration values testing XR_APILAYER_NOVENDOR_nis_scaler.
It didn’t do anything toward reducing the haze which was my primary reason for installing it. As for the other affects, I did see changes with the 2 options available but nothing that I couldn’t achieve within the sim settings itself with comparable frame rate gains or losses depending on how you made the adjustments.
