Anyone Using Logitech/Saitek X56 H.O.T.A.S. with MSFS

Update:

Deleted then reassigned both throttle axis (1 & 2) and the issue has been resolved. Now the throttle inside cockpit moves with the throttle axis from 0 - 100 (full range).

Hey Dan, I am having the same problem with my Logitech X56, it’s so weird because this started all of a sudden and I have tried everything to fix it but no dice. Drives me nuts spending close to $400.00 for this equipment and it just stops working. I downloaded all drivers, updated my system and have a genuine copy of windows 11 and nothing. If anyone out there has a solution to this problem please let us know. So frustrating.

Have you tried this. It fixed my throttle and I had some nasty problems.
I have managed to get my throttle to work correctly by doing this: first I Googled Logitech X56 Throttle Clear Calibration Utility. There I found the instructions of how to do it. So I did that then I downloaded the calibration utility DIView. and used that to calibrate my throttle axis. I then went to MSFS to see if there was any change. Everthing was back to normal except the throttle range was 0 to 80%. I haven’t done it yet but I am going to go back to DIView and see if I can correct it. The instructions for using DIView were in a post right up above this one but now I can’t seem to find it. I think it was. Select the box for the controller you want to calibrate, then right click in that box and select Raw Data and note the numbers in red, then right click on the box again and choose Calibrate. Put those Raw Data numbers in the fields, check it and that’s it. No need to save.

The 80% issue turn out to be a charteristic of the FA-18.

Hey D, since I had issues with the Logitech 52 with two diffrent PC’s and the X56 acting up, I decided to go back to the Thrustmaster 1600 HOTAS until I can afford the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS. I’m selling the X56 and will never look back on Logitech ever again. They work flawlessly with Apple Computers but with IBM’s, IDK.

I have x56. This is what I do to activate afterburners on msfs.
Push the throttle to max, then press f3 key to activate the afterburner. It works on Darkstar too
