The absence of turboprop airliners drives me insane. My whole schedule is based on getting in ATR territory when itā€™s released. For me basically either being in the Canary Islands or New Zealand. Not getting tired of the PMDG 737 and Fenix A320 but something is missing. Iā€™ve arrived in Auckland this weekend, took the Caravan to Rotorua, will maybe do a couple of flights but I wonā€™t leave NZ until the ATR is released

I used the Twin Otter in a fictional NZ livery for Wellington to Westport, but itā€™s not quite the same!

Wrong airline mate :rofl: what you need is sounds air :rofl: but air NZ (Eagle air) did used to fly this routeā€¦
You should do some emb110 (if you have it) flights around NZā€¦ you almost get that sensation of vfr as your lower down and also get that sensation of tubeliner as wellā€¦ even

Iā€™ve done it in the sounds air livery for the tbm, its the closest thing to the pc12 but definitely not quite the same thingā€¦ that hording finger is poised on the buy now carenado but ā– ā– ā– ā–  Iā€™m trying so hard to hold on for sws pc12ā€¦

But definitely get the sounds air livery for the C208 and also the fill in livery for the tbm (unless you have carenado pc12) and do some sounds air flightsā€¦

Picton airport is their home base and they do flights pict-well, well to westport-Taupo-Nelson-blenheim, Blen to chch, chch to wanaka and also Kapiti airport have flights to Nelson and Blenheimā€¦

It will nicley warm you up for (the key on topic wordā€¦) atr 72ā€¦:rofl:

Edit Wow didnā€™t know that dam and ā– ā– ā– ā–  were totally different words :rofl:

I agree hope for some Binter Canarias and Loganair Liveries for it so it is good to go from release!

Hope it will be ready for 25th April, no newer information about it since 28th March, and it is 1 week to goā€¦

With the release a week a way, is it possible to find a paint kit somewhere?

Yeah, would be awesome if they would release it already.

I was hoping that they wouldve posted other updates in general by now before the release.

Will the ATR be available to XBOX series S/X in the day of the release?

Yes it should.

I feel it the same, and the ATR will be a godsend. My first flight is gonna be from Sydney to Lord Howe Island.

Iā€™m eager to hear what it sounds like too. Does anyone remember the days of old FS where every prop used the King Air soundā€¦ sometimes even payware aircraft.

The sound of these aircraft are half of what makes it an attractive purchase for me, hopefully theyā€™ll have done a great job on it

Oooffā€¦

Hope you use full brakes for that one mate, a reason why Qantas kept its Q100-200s for as long and possibleā€¦ 2907 ft runwayā€¦

Mate ATR chc-Queenstown-Rotorua will serve you very well :grin::grin:

But nah, sounds like a nice wee challenge to Lord Howe

I wonā€™t find out if I donā€™t try it, mate. Iā€™ve seen a guy landing FBX A320 at Lukla :sunglasses:

:rofl::rofl::rofl: yupā€¦

The good old traditional msfs ā€œrights of passageā€ along with a 747 up the grand canyon and a hard pull before the damā€¦ or the an225 at saba

You could even do a wee hop to Norfolk island and from there onto NZ, Iā€™ve just did a wee update on Kaitaia airport on flightsim.to,
Itā€™s the most northerly airport in NZ and often used as a ferry flight departure/destination for ga aircraft then from thereā€¦ explore NZ

Iā€™m sure FTSiM+ will have a sound pack in the pipe.
