They already do? You can select hPa or inHg as unit of measurements and that changes also “QNH” versus “altimeter” in phraseology I believe. It is not truely regional as in you have to change a menu option when flying in the states versus anywhere else in the world.

No It’s regional. I fly the 747, and when operating in the States, for instance taking off, I’m given inhg. On the same flight over, for example, England on my approach and landing, I’m given QNH readings. Same flight, different jurisdictions.

Thanks for the workaround; that was driving me underscore batty underscore!

I don’t know what’s happening, but the ATC at the moment seems to be a mixture of improvements and failures. The improvements include more varied accents and more varied phrases. The failures include the “underscore” of course, but also many transmissions being cut short; not scrolling to the fin…
