Really good product imho ! There are still some flaws but the support is good.

I’ve been having full airports, not even a stand to park in, with their recommended setting of 5 for Parked Aircraft Density. I had to lower to 3 in TPA to get just a few empty gates. I have seen duplicate planes (i.e. two planes with the same flight number and same destination parked next to each other), so there is some ironing out to do here. But its miles better than any other traffic injector, none of which interact with BATC in the first place. I love this program!

For some strange reason I keep getting sent to Heavy gates on arrival. Never medium gates. Any ideas why? This is for a 737 or a320.

You’re 100% sure there are no other traffic injectors running, i.e. FSLTL injection?

That said, the traffic shown is from a week of data from earlier this year, and from what I understand matches the day/time of the sim when launching BATC. Density of 10 = real-life traffic density. 5 removes roughly half of that.

What time of day/week did you find the gates full at KTPA? Maybe I’ll try to reproduce this scenario later today.

Wow, never seen it do this before, but very cool none the less. This was an AI aircraft. :exploding_head:

Is it stock airport or a 3rd party one? Also which airport we talking about? Or you mean in general?

I’ve mostly been flying into EGLL (Ini) recently, also other 3rd party airports, but I need a higher dataset to be sure of this. If I ask for directions to assigned gate it usually comes back with a gate for a heavy. I end up ignoring and using GSX instead to go to a more sensible gate.

You also mentioned this happening both a320, b737. What simbrief profile do you use for them? By any chance the airframe has been changed accidentally? (I know since it’s both of them it’s less possible).
When BATC (for example) assigning your parking spot, it’s using data from the scenery and simbrief profile.

Ah right ok. The Asobo 737 Max doesnt as yet have an official profile in simbrief (that I know of) so I was using ā€œdefaultā€ one so I guess there may be an issue there perhaps.
But the Fenix A320/1 are all the proper simbrief profiles supplied by Fenix.
I’ve definitely been sent to heavy gates in both aircraft, but will try to monitor it more closely as to which airport/aircraft combinations are misbehaving.

The other thing I can think of in this late hours is since BATC is now assigns the planes ā€˜where they belong’ (ie Gate-accurate airlines for every airport), may not considering right at the moment its size.
PS: sent you a pm

A pre XMas bug was squashed…

Hotfix 1.5.8.EA
Fix - A submit in 1.5.6.X went unnoticed and broke the entire runway logic controller, causing all landing aircraft (including the player) not to register themselves with the system. This resulted in aircraft landing on top of each other, non-sequenced landings, as well as no call out for go-arounds if the runway was occupied.
Sorry about that! This is why checkins before going on break are bad. This issue has been resolved and runways should go back to working as expected now.

Compared to no ATC (the native one is useless) this is but a small gripe?

Just tested this in the Fenix A319, sure enough, sent to a heavy gate. An ITA parked up next to me, so I’m not convinced it’s anything to do with the user aircraft. I know looking on the world map, most gates are medium or heavy gates, with very few small, so maybe it’s confused where to put folk? Interestingly, loading up at Heathrow seems to put all or most AIs in the right spots, it’s when traffic starts landing when it goes to pot. I’m guessing it’s an Afcad problem.

There are a lot of heavy spots at egll but I used to have fsltl running and still get assigned to terminal 5 medium or terminal 2 medium. Now with BATC it’s T5 heavy.
I usually ignore and select T5 medium from GSX. It’s just a disconnect between BATC and what say default sim ATC would assign you. I’m sure I’ve had other airports that this happens at too.

Thanks for confirming though. Good to know it’s not just me.

The Asobo 737 max might not be a good aircraft to assess things with as there are currently only a few liveries for it so I may be flying an airline/ livery into heathrow that doesn’t use egll IRL. But the Fenix should all be working you’d think. I use the official simbrief profiles for it too.

I am enjoying BATC with FSLTL. For simmers who are not seeing the traffic, give it sometime, the traffic will start popping in. I must say though that after a fresh install of FLSTL, the traffic starts appearing a lot quicker. Btw, if anyone might know about this, is it a known temporary limitation / issue that TCAS doesnt pick up the traffic being injected? Or maybe I am missing something

Ha, I hope it gets the fixes it deserves. Beautiful model.

In MFSF24 Asobo’s aircraft don’t show traffic in TCAS. But Fenix works fine

Couple of flights yesterday with the FBW A320, got two or three TCAS warnings.

May have misunderstood you but you shouldn’t use the FSLTL injector when using BATC, just the models. Not sure if it has anything to do with lack of TCAS

All right, thanks for letting me know. So strange that their own aircraft systems don’t work as they are suppose to  . Maybe they will fix it in an update at some point.

Good point. I don’t use FSLTL injector, it’s just the base models from FSLTL that I use with BATC. @pgledesma9 mentioned that Asobo’s aircraft don’t have a functioning TCAS. I will try it with FBW and Fenix, and see if it works. I am really looking forward to the A330 Neo from Headwind, I love that aircraft model.
