Blackbird Simulations News/ Updates

I thought only certain top tier devs had access to the Xbox test systems?

Any Developer can use players as testers if they choose to

Hey guys, if you want to get all caught up on anything you missed during the stream, be sure to checkout our re-upload on Blackbird’s YouTube channel

Not on XBOX.

In layman’s terms regarding the 732

Ive been following it from the beginning

There have been various posts regarding the modeling being almost done, reworked, sound package being done, done etc etc etc

Just a rough idea maybe like a percentage bar graph

Would it be like 50% 60% done, even just 25-40% how is it coming along

Where in the priority levels is it amongst other projects
Near the top, middle or near the bottom

Looking forward to it regardless

Yes even on xbox. I am an xbox tester for 2 developers. They give xbox profile details to the MS team, MS then attatch the tester to the 3rd party subscription and every time an update or product is submitted for “testing” it comes directly to my marketplace account in the content manager

Example in above image

Ok, thanks for the clarifikation. This is new to me. My apologies.

Cheers

We have said this before, but when it comes to our development there are rarely ‘priorities’, one project’s success doesn’t come at the detriment of the other. The reason for this is because we have dedicated teams tackling different projects. For example, we have one team on the Uh-1h, one team on the T6A, etc. Certain projects take longer than others due to coding, modelling, & testing differentiation. In addition, a lot of the time we improve on projects and expand on the scope initially set for an aircraft, meaning that we find/ discuss new things, features, models, etc. to add - this can sometimes mean that our releases are pushed back in favor of a more well-rounded timeless product.

What I can say, is that we will have more to share with the 732 in the near future.

I hope I could answer your question, and we thank you for your patience & support while we work on these birds

Thanks for the explanation, you have no obligation to disclose how your team(s) work to us so the insight view is always appreciated.

Speaking about releases but without dates and judging at which stage each project is do you think we can expect a blast of releases almost at the same time?
Maybe you can’t but without dates knowing in which orders project will come to light might be helpful, I would say to plan purchases but it is probably just anxiety.

Hello Blackbird, the propeller cone in the twitch clip for the T6A appears to be jerky, not smooth as the porter. Can you please make this cone looking more static?

Iris Simulations has released a T6 Texan II is that the same as this one?

No. Theirs is a T-6B (glass) and ours is a T-6A (analog/hybrid glass).

We will be releasing our T-6B later

Well this makes sense. Your talking about comparing a $5K PC to a $400 Xbox. There will be concessions made to run add-ons for the Xbox if even possible. The way Blackbird is developing these advanced aircraft doesn’t allow a Gaming Console to run them.

Clearly you must have missed the alias and avatar of our esteemed developer! The proper response would have been:

“Thank ye Cap’n! Ye be a legend fer grabbin’ the time to reveal yer plans and pictures!”
