BravoAirspace 787-9 Dreamliner review for Xbox and PC. What's the difference?

I wouldnt worry too much about all that stuff, the sounds alone are worth the price. I think it was a $20 plane and you get tonnes of liveries and variants and sounds close to PMDG, the spool up on takeoff is absolutely incredible. better than Inibuilds sounds, way better than the default 787-10 which sounds like a vacuum cleaner

And because it’s bravo the liveries are bang on, they make the best liveries anyway for almost every other aircraft. These guys are having a genuine crack and making things better

Can you help me out, or anybody who knows is welcome of course . I just bought the 787-9 and did a quick peek in de configuration . Love the liveries, really look amazing and can’t wait to try her out.

What I like to know is , the only reason to change the engine type is probably the livery , correct?

my second question which I think is , for me , more important to know, When I make 2 new airframes in simbrief I notice that some things are different, especially the fuelcapacity and the max. landingweight. I will post the values I see from simbrief: The one with less fuel is the Trent 1000

Are these numbers for the different types correct? Also what’s so strange is that with the GenX the max fuel capacity is exactly same as the empty weight ?

Im not sure if maybe people all use these numbers or did you modify them manually for each type?

I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you in advance!!

I can’t answer the 2nd question, I seldom use simbrief.

The liveries and engine variants are based on real world carriers

I’ve gotten a reply from Bravo and it’s fixed now. They made a little mistake they said.

I did my first flight today and had a few things what I noticed.

1: When starting cold and dark outside , I can’t open the door to enter , I have to use a shortcut on my controller to get in the cockpit.

2: on the tablet , when I ask for catering , 5 seconds later the plane “ crashes” and I respawn again.

3: throttle in idle , the plane starts moving at about 10knots.

4: when I put in a TA , it takes that number also in cruise altitude.

5: the plane consumes fuel even with only ground power on ( engine and apu are off )

6: the sound of the attendant messages is very low can it turn that up?

These are a few things that caught my eye first time trying this plane.

What I noticed also , and I think bravo airspace does confirm this on their site , that the tablet has a lot of things that don’t work.

Doesn’t it have a performance ( like simbrief take off/landing performance ) section ? I can’t find it. I think I see it in the 787-10 and that can send it to the fmc but I don’t see it.

What more I noticed and I don’t know if I can change that is the preset instrument views. Normally it goes to instrument 1 ( in all my planes that’s the PFD ) and then to fmc , etc etc but in this plane instrument 1 is a side view of the overhead panel , 2 is fmc ,3 I think the tablet , order doesn’t matter to much but I don’t like the side view of overhead and the missing of PFD as instrument 1
Can this be changed ?

All things noticed , I’m on Xbox so anything with adding/removing/modifying software is not possible for me

Sorry for my very very long message but does all of these things sound familiar ?

That’s because the aircraft is not 2024-native so none of the exterior “walkaround” features will work.

Depending on the aircraft’s payload this is accurate for many aircraft with powerful engines.

Sorry I’ve never used their tablet, I just use the FMC

I was an early adopter prior to the bravo tablet and just got used to entering everything in the FMC

It’s been a while I have to fly it again to see how it behaves with the MSFS 2024 EFB, I wonder if “send to ATC and avionics" works now. It’s still a 2020 aircraft but bravo said they are working on Native 2024 which I hope includes some career mode, as the 2024 787 is in the heavy shop ready for purchase when unlocked.

Can you also add a #2024 to this topic?

We haven’t got a Bravo Airspace 787-9 thread for Xbox - MSFS2024

Maybe we can all contribute here ?
