Britten Norman Trislander (Study Level) AVAILABLE NOW

The Taburet 10m DEM for Hawai’i makes it look much nicer than the stock mesh.

Pineapple on pizza? War crime!

The Hawaiian Islands need a world update all to themselves.

Yep. You can make the Hawaiian islands look pretty good with Taburet’s mesh and some Flightsim.to photogrammetry add-ons for Maui and Honolulu. But they really deserve the full native detail treatment for all of the islands.

Psyched for the Trislander! How the heck do they board all of those rows? Are there doors on both sides, alternating rows?

The front end, or the back end? The front arrives a lot sooner.

Yes indeed

Agreed. I wish Hawai’i and some islands around the Pacific Ocean would get a little more love! With the addition of PHKO (for the PC), I think we’re just missing PHNL? (Well, and my airport, PHNG)

…someday we’ll get rid of that goofy side striping on 8L…

I love how the Trislander has like 12 doors. It’s like Oprah - you get a door, and you get a door, and YOU GET A DOOR!

Is this aircraft for sale yet and if so where can it be purchased? Thankyou.

We are close … but not released yet …
Watch this space … once we are finished and happy we will announce it here first

so…how’s the testing going?

Looking good hope it’s testing ok

Testing is going great. Like many companies, BlackBox is also waiting on revised sound files. Seems to me there is a big opportunity here for someone to learn the insides and out of the new sound processes. High demand and low supply in the market right now.

The choice between the Trislander or the BAe 146. This gets my money first!

Trislander coming soon Kumba yaaaaaah!

“But how soon?” seems to be the question now…

When it’s ready! I’m not in a hurry; I’d rather see it fully baked than taken out of the oven early because we’re all hungry for it!

Frankly, from a merchandising standpoint, with the 146 and MD-80 out the door and the 737 on final, it’d probably be best to give peoples’ wallets a chance to recover anyway. If BlackBox is going for the study-level crowd, they’re going to be pretty busy with those for a little while.

Then again, this is in a different size/speed/service class than those, so maybe it’s different enough that it won’t be in direct competition.

But given the hype for the 737 since MSFS shipped, if it was me, I’d just take time to add some frosting to the cake and ship the Trislander as dessert.

(I say this, but I’m way more excited for the Trislander than I am for the PMDG 737, because the Trislander sounds like fun and the 737 sounds like homework, so maybe I’m reading the market wrong.)
