I preferred buy direct from developer website. Not only get quicker updates, also helping to support the developer… Pretty sure marletpalce takes fairly large percentage.

Flies great, sounds awesome ( and makes the noise of a much faster a/c, that’s perfect lol ), cockpit is lovely, and I crashed once already because I got the carb heat levers backwards & lost power(!).

Negatives not massively negative - internal model pilot’s door doesn’t shut at the top - if you’ve got head tracking you’ll notice that, dash is a bit dark for me which I’ll self correct, and there’s some jarringly low res parts of the external model or at least the Blue Islands livery, haven’t inspected all of them yet.

Flying-wise this is what I wanted, so pretty chuffed so far!

That’s a very comprehensive answer Graham, thank you. You convinced me with ā€˜several weeks’. Sold. Please release a classic Joey livery with the egg yellow, black writing and black and red swish, and I can die fully complete.

Seems it’s an not trislander related. Others have had it also other server problems

I had, couldn’t verify msfs license which others have reported also

Sounds like it could be server related then.

This has nothing to do with the Trislander. There is a major xbox outage

Deleted my post as It seems it is Microsoft related - perfect timing on their behalf!

Oh, hooray, I just logged on and saw how many posts were in this topic and I was hoping it was out!

I’ll have you know, @NightMercury358, that I’ve been eying all kinds of planes I want to buy over the past week. The C310R (which I’ve flown IRL, so I’m definitely getting!), the BAE 146, the Aeroprakt A-22, and maybe even the MD-80… But there’s only one plane I’m jumping over to buy the second I see it’s available, and that’s the Trislander.

I’ve probably spent more time in the BN2 than any other third-party plane, and a ton in the L-19 too. (And I gotta go back to the Bulldog some more…) Love your stuff, love your communication, and absolutely love the way you’ve addressed community feedback with all of these. Makes me feel like I’m going to get something cool for my money, and confident I’ll get excellent support.

Plus the Trislander is just freaking cool – I love oddball airplanes. (Still annoyed the online crowd whined the great Tim ā€œPigletā€ Conrad out of sim development.)

Thanks, Graham! Can’t wait to take to the skies and make some noise! Off to buy now!

Thank God the Texture Inspectors are on duty! Wouldn’t be an MSFS release without them!

My engines quit on me after about 10 minutes. I’m idling them at 1000-1200 rpm and following the book on startup procedures… I don’t know what’s wrong. They will start to lose RPM (and change in tone) in the order they were started, and then quit completely after a minute or two. And I am paying attention to the starter isolation switch!

I think I’m missing something here, and I don’t know what it is… Other than that, I like it so far!

Yeah, nice selective quote there  didn’t bother reading the compliments? ah well, what’s a launch without a charge in on a high horse. I should know better than respond but hey, my poor impulse control.

@NightMercury358 all that work on the FM definitely paid off, what a lovely smooth thing.to fly! couple of hours in & still feeling better.

ok Customers… there appears to be an issue affecting a Very small Minority …
If your ASPEN EFIS Will not work then check your other mods are up to date . .
Most probably Older versions of GTN750

I read the positives. It’s just that it’s not a launch on this forum without someone finding a texture or polygon to point out right away no matter how many other amazing things there are with a plane. It’s like it’s a right of passage or something. I remember when the Islander shipped and some guy screenshotted a poly/texture issue in the very back corner of the cabin.

Sorry, I’m sure your feedback is legit and I apologize for quoting your post. I was just amused because I was reading the initial comments and counting ā€œTime to First Polygon/Texture Complaintā€ and you were the lucky winner!

Hey folks, if your EFIS isn’t showing up in the Trislander, try updating your GTN750 (if you have one). I was on v2.1.19, and the current is v2.1.34. I just updated mine, but will have to wait just a bit to test it for myself.

(edit) - confirmed (for me at least). Updating the PMS GTN750 fixed the EFIS in the Trislander. Yay!

I am very very happy. This is a wonderful aircraft. The stability and handling is just outstanding. Blackbox, you folks just keep getting better!

Well, that indeed did the trick… I never expected 15C to constitute ā€œpotential icing conditionsā€ā€¦ Thanks for the tip!
