I hope the pressure altitude and TAS errors as brought up by you will finally be fixed. Its good that the topic got the devs their attention.
I’ve been reading many posts from @anon50268670 over the last year, where he is sharing a lot of knowledge and experience and where he is also giving a lot a feedback on many different aspects of the game. I felt it was important to remind this too and that we cut him some slack. I meant no disrespect at all in not mentioning you, the OP, and my comment doesn’t remove the fact you’ve been the one revealing this bug and I believe you’ve been contributing a lot too. If my comment made you feel uncomfortable I’m sorry because it was not intended.
Now, it’s my turn to thank you! (I admit that I was feeling a bit slighted as I had informed Asobo about the incorrect implementation of the pressure vs altitude and temperature effects on airplane height above ground level, provided them with the correct equations and tables and examples to check them with before @anon50268670 even got involved. I had only mentioned the altitude problems in this forum in response to someone else also spotting it and was treated with skepticism and outright disagreement until @anon50268670 stepped in with his excellent summary of the errors.)
To add to this @AwarePlot117729 has corrected me on several occasions on different topics, my contributions certainly aren’t always flawless. On a lot of subjects he is certainly more knowledgeable than I am. My knowledge doesn’t extend much further than ATPL(A) level

I have a feeling this is tided in with live weather. I’m not flying live weather but instead “broken clouds” theme & this issue isn’t happening. I only experience it on live weather
No, it is tied with non-ISA temperature. The broken clouds theme is at ISA temperature. Try changing the temperature.
This should be pinned in the forum, I think the original wording in the release notes was a little light in detail.
