Hello all.
I had the same problem after the latest hotfix…
For me it worked deleting the “Microsoft Flight Simulator” Folder in the User\Appdata\Roaming Folder.
The sim creates the files inside new…but make a backup first…
Maybe someone can say something to that?
After the recent required software upgrade, I cannot load the program past the page which shows a C152 panel and the NeoA320 and the moving blue progress bar. It just CTD before the blue bar gets near 75% of it’s way. I had no issues loading or playing the sim before. Removed the community folder, and reinstalled the program, with the same result. BTW, I don’t have a Microsoft Flight Simulator folder to remove in the USER\APPDATA\ROAMING FOLDER,
HELP!! Thanks. Windows 10, Nvidia 1080, I7-6700 @ 4.00 ghz, ASUS Z170 deluxe

Happy to report that the zendesk folks told me to renew my GTX 1080 driver, and that did the trick.
