Well, many scenarios in the screenshots in this topic are doable, but that is for a different game. I prefer realism. Before starting ag missions I always zoom in on the field, and look for another mission if there are powerlines across the field, many trees, truck too close to obstacles, etc.

Seems like a skill issue indeed, just keep practising, you’ll eventually get better at it and be able to land in the center of the platform.
