Well, that doesn’t explain why cargo missions are visible.
If this is a rule, why it applies to certain missions only?
This is awful game design, I just spent weeks grinding for new planes in my vip company and now I can’t use them.

@GoSammy1971 This doesn’t make any sense, I’m a S class pilot, I had maybe 60 missions available and since new year they are all gone. So this is not a feature.

I am qualified for cargo, charters, firefighting, etc. but cannot ever see any of those missions. So for big credits all I can use is Medevac.
Why the big secrecy or delay on releasing missions? Are they bandwidth limited so they have to keep us from playing their game? When they announced this design where you have to get contant data from the internet to use it, they claimed they would never be bandwidth limited.
Or maybe they just need time to fix bugs - if that’s the case I applaud it, but they should announce the reason and a target date for when missions will be released again.
And how strange is it that I only see missions in CA and in Europe? Nothing in the rest of the US.
Checked that. It is not the feature. They had a major crash of the career server.
I think the four airplanes (not very exciting from my point of view) are not going to be a compensation enough.
I have lost millions of credits due to the game bugs, crashes etc.
I will definitely ask for compensation of that.

Nobody can see them. The game is totally flawed. It seems they do not even know where to start fixing. The mods are flagging posts instead of helping the community. I’m not even sure if they have any related information about the lack of action from the devs. It seems the support is not prepared for a 100% online game and did not plan well before launching. Career mode is probably gone after this mess. You can try Neofly if you want to keep playing career mode.

This is definitely a bug, not a feature. It’s been confirmed at this point. Since the sim came out I’ve had missions populate normally and as of 3-4 days ago, I have zero other than 3 specific types. I think the feature impacts things like firefighting missions, but shouldn’t cause effectively all non-basic missions to disappear globally.
Same issue on my side. No VIP charter missions available. I don’t know if I am more frustrated with the developers or with myself for the fact that I keep trying to play this simulator day after day with the same result

Same issue just bought the vision jet and can’t get missions. Cargo works

Same for me, worked hard to get the Cirrus Vision jet and nothing, thanks to all of you that have confirmed what I am seeing. I do now spend all of my time on 2024 rather than 2020, but issues like this are slowly making me think about leaving it until a major update is made to fix the many issues. Plus a bug just crashed my 172 into a mountain and is going to cost me 420k credits to replace, which means sell the VJ or do employee missions, no thanks, will wait until the bugs are fixed!

same here. No charter mission available in any way.
More than that my medevac mission are bugged because mission waypoints didn’t trigger and i can’t complete missions (but the game always counts the plane wear so i’m actually stucked in career)
My wife can attest than I’m right there with you. Everyday after work I try, complain, and quit. Gather the yoke and other peripherals, march them back to the room I keep them in and tell myself I’m not doing this anymore. This simulator is the biggest joke I’ve ever seen and I’ve been flying MSFS since ‘95. It’s a ■■■■ shame 
So. I had the same issue from the beginning of January. I just completed the Jet ATP certification and the first mission and the Vip charter missions are shown again in the map. For now at least

Since January 1st, I haven’t had any VIP missions. Shortly before New Year’s Eve, I purchased the Vision Jet. Today, for the first time, I had some charter missions in the San Francisco Bay area.

SOLUTION: Thank you very much @skydriver5709 and @EV1LGENERAL for your recommendations! I was able to solve the problem by going to Settings > General > Online tab, and from there I turned off “Aircraft Traffic Type”, “Air Traffic in career”, “Live Weather” and “Multiplayer”. I save the changes and exited the Settings page, then went back to Settings > General > Online tab, and turned back on all the settings that were turned off (“Aircraft Traffic Type”, “Air Traffic in career”, “Live Weather” and “Multiplayer”). That solved the problem for me.
Found and got my missions back!

my fix was to complete the passenger jet certification then complete 10/10 vip transports at level B or better. I will try Waldens fix and see what happens.
I also confirm the missions are back. But EXACTLY the same as they were. And with that I mean that there is no variation at all. Also no missions flying outside your circles at all. Same little airports, same grinding. Really bummer.
there not bck for me i had to uninstall the game and reinstall to see if i can see them but still nothing i had 2 yesterday and when i load in the planes started to fly was weird and it was a mission fail and all day today and most day yesterday after the 2 i couldnt find any vip/private ones
