Constant CDTs after SU16 while flying long hauls for more that 5,6 hours

I just had another CTD while using FSLTL traffic flying YPPH (Perth) to VHHH (Hong Kong). I haven’t had crashes when not using FSLTL in the last few days. Seems AI Traffic and flights around East Asia are bugged :frowning:

Yeah, nothing you can do for now. I’ve already raised this via ZenDesk, and here’s the reply I received. Hard to say if this is true or just usual reply for such tickets.

“SupportYesterday, 9:29 PM

Hi Dawid,

Thank you for taking the time to report the bug you encountered in the game and the solution you provided for it.

Your issue will now go through the Bugs and Issues Review Process and will be first examined by the QA team before reaching the development teams and Microsoft. Once a fix is ready, it will be included in a corrective patch.

Given this change, we will be resolving your current support ticket.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.”

You need to understand that Zendesk is like the service manager at your garage.
They don’t do the work, they forward the issue to the “mechanics”, in this case MSFS.
Now that they processed the “service report” you entered, and MS is looking into it, Zendesk has done their job, so the Zendesk report is marked as resolved, not because the issue has been fixed, but that they have done their job of getting the issue properly documented with the correct group.

I’m sorry, but I think you may have misunderstood my previous post. I fully understand how ZenDesk works. I didn’t write anywhere that I was disappointed with the response or that I was angry about it in any way. I just questioned whether the response was simply generated by AI or a bot. If my problem has been passed on, that’s fine; if not, that’s also okay. I did what I could do and that’s all. The thing I am disappointed about is the fact that SU16 was released with such serious bugs. Best regards.

I was in a group flight last night with 6 of us. 5 of us had multiple CTDs. Same thing today. Repeated CTDs on start, during flight, on approach. I did manage to complete a flight by switching off NVIDIA anti aliasing & downgrading my global graphics settings. Not the solution I’d hoped for.

I am experiencing frequent CTD’s since I came back from a pause in using the sim. I had not used the sim much when SU16 came out and CTD’s on my PC until then were extremely rare. Now I came back to the sim after discovering the SSC weather presets for fs2020 and started doing soaring flights. Now, CTD’s are occuring constantly. I deinstalled almost every addon except the glider planes and the SSC weather presets. I use littlenavmap to track my flights and a streamdeck+ with the pilotsdeck plugin, so it could have something to do with simconnect and/or psuipc but both of those are on the latest version. Bytheway I have AI traffic turned off (sliders set to zero for all types)
