LFMD passed. 100 mins without CTD. Trying to reach LEBL. Wondering if this good sim behaviour is related to the fact that I’m using today the terrain injection utility we must not talk about here…
The last thing I did last night was spawn at TNCM. It took 2-3 times longer than normal to load in, and when it eventually did most of the scenery was missing. No runway, no boats, and just the default underlying textures, but very low resolution. I turned the sim off at that point, and will try again tonight after work.
I join the Club. I can not fly longer than 10 min. till CTD. No Entry in Event Log so i can not say why. Location was LFMT and LFLB. Aircraft P-51 Speedy Mustang.

So are we pretty sure now that it looks like IP address 20.42.150.112 is the server causing the issue as since it has been taking down the issues have stopped ?
I don’t think a hotfix to the executable files on end users’ computers is what is needed. Since late last week, the NTDLL crash is also suddenly affecting SU9 installations that have not changed or been updated in weeks. It has to be something on the server side that is causing that particular CTD (associated with error code 0xc0000374).
Now there are other types of CTDs (associated with memory access violations) that might be caused by bugs in SU10 beta.
I had the same behavior last night when spawning at EFHK. Decided to turn it off and go to bed at that point.
CTD without any error 50 miles outside LPFR from EGKK, thought i was going to make it ![]()
I’m used to seeing the memory can’t be read error but now the sim just gives up lol
No way to truely confirm it, I havent fired the sim up again yet to check to see if thats where Im still connecting or not.
Pretty simple for you to try yourself though,
1.open task manager
2 open resource monitor
3 start game
4 tab out to resourse monitor, highlight simulator.exe in the window at the top and choose the network tab
5 go back to sim and launch a flight after in the air a couple of min, engage autopiolt (so you can leave sim running) then switch back to resource monitor, look in the network connections box there should be 5 or 6 connections running for simulator.com.
6 write down the address
7 close everything sim task man resource mon
8 open ping plotter and put the address in you just copied from resource monitor into pingplotter and run a trace, letting it run for a couple of min.
9 this will show you the entire route to this host and will show you where packet loss and latency issues are occuring.
10 rinse and repeat for the other servers you wrote down from resource monitor.
11 come back and tell us what you find.
I’m on SU9 and suddenly got an update on Thursday (WU Germany) on about 4GB. Could this be the culprit?
Also Poland.
Doubt it, had my first crash before downloading that update.
I don’t think so, because SU9 users are getting the NTDLL crash who have not installed that optional content update.
Same. I have not downloaded the update but I had the crashes. However the timing of that update is bizarre
This is all started happening on friday when i loaded at Samos and it took ages to load in but when it finally did everything was a blurry mess. Noticed through a few posts many people have experienced this it must be connected. 2022 and we are still simming on a platfotm put together with duct tape.
Probably not. I have not downloaded this update yet, but all my flights since Friday have ended in a CTD.
If you read the thread above you will see that MS are aware of the issue and probably identified the server responsible, give it time
Happening with me too for the past week or so.
About every other flight has a ctd. Some shortly after starting, others a few hours into the flight.
I’m flying the FBW A320 and the Headwind A330 900.
I’ve had very few ctd events up to then. No extra add-ons or new aircraft for many months.
I’m located in Ireland.
I´m getting this since last friday August 19. Tried also without addons and just standard planes. It happens for me randomly from 10 minutes in the game until 2 hours of flying. Its always connected to a ntdll error on my machine. Didn´t tried offline mode yet, but also different servers. Used planes: B747, Fenix A320, Kodiak, CJ4 with and without WT, Beech V36. Didn´t installed any updates. The week before i was flying a 7000nm flight and also shorter ones without any problem.

Can you provide a link please?
Try offline and it should be fine, no live weather, no live traffic, no rolling cache.
