Except for the fact that it’s visuals only. Arcade Mode, in other words. You will not experience anything remotely close to the potentially plane-breaking turbulence and wind shear. Even a regular, run of the mill thunderstorm can take a plane out of the sky. But you only experience what is the equivalent to mild turbulence if you fly straight through one.

Yes, just that there has been a lot of talk about degraded graphics and clouds specifically, that’s why this thread was about the quite impressive visuals. Winds in the storms warrant another topic and I concur they need to be improved for realism. In fact one of the top voted questions for the next Wednesday’s dev Q&A was about bringing back the gusts.

Further Jörg said in a Gamescon interview last week that improving the storms is on their radar, as he wants to make the sim world as alive as possible for us. So I say let’s hold him on to that vision! :smiley:
