Yeah, I had that happen to me as well after I posted. This isn’t a simple “remove this one thing and it’s fixed” issue. Will likely have to wait for Asobo to put out a new version. This one is just buggy.
I’m running all stock defaults on my 5800X3D and 4090. Memory is running the standard 3200 XMP profile. I’ve been running this system for years now (went from 3070 → 3090Ti → 4090, but the rest was the same), and have never overclocked or messed around with timings or anything like that.
I’ve also run the 3D Mark Stress Test on the system and it never had any issues. It’s unlikely to be a hardware issue
Reproducible CTD’s with SU15 beta. Two attempts at the same flight in the Fenix A320 from EGBB to GMAD. Both times the CTD has occurred in cruise approaching the French coast. Volanta screenshot shows this area clearly.
Two sets of events in Event Viewer with two different fault buckets:

I’m going to assume something to do with resource allocation when it comes to loading in new terrain?
For me it only happens when flying the Fenix A320. CTS around 1-1,5 hours into the flight. Did two 787 flights this weekend of over 4 hours without any problems. Tried to update to the beta, but the problem still persists…

Feel good that I am not the only one that have the same issue.
I tried removing every folders in community, but no luck.
Different planes, bush trip or free flight it does happens almost every flight I do.
Sometimes it takes minutes, sometimes 1 hour.
Same as others, I get a little glitch, then seconds after I have CTD.
System was always strong and playable since 2020.
Unsubscribe from Beta for now so I can enjoy flying.
Waiting for a new built.

I downloaded an SDK update today, and after that I haven’t had a crash. Maybe I will yet, but so far it’s been three hours with no crash.
I didn’t have Dev mode enabled, but I did have the SDK installed, so I decided to enable Dev Mode, and saw there was an update. Downloaded, installed, restarted.. and so far so good. I have turned off Dev Mode and am flying normally, with my usual set of addons.
Who knows what’s going on, but at least I can fly again. Will report back if it crashes.

Good tip, the SDK at least changed the behaviour on my end. Before that I had a 100% replicable crash at Boca Chica during the last leg of the Hispaniola bush trip. But while I now still got the crash message in the event log, the sim itself did only half crash.
Instead it popped up this message about a memory read error. But I didn’t click either button here, just moved the error message of screen and the sim recovered just fine in the background and continued running just like normal.
While obviously not ideal, at least I can finish my flight this way 
Unfortunatly today at LHBP airport i turned on the new version 24.0 of dev mode on and changed aircraft from Asobo C172_AS1000 to Ca172sp_Classic and it resulted in a ctd again it started with the sound it stopped then froze and a few seconds later it ctd
It seems to me it either sound or dev mode or combination has something to do with these ctd’s
I’m not using dev mode and I’m having ctd’s. I’ve had 4 out of 4 flights result in a crash. Same symptoms as you…sound stops, then a freeze, then boom it’s gone. Happens around the 50 minute mark of flight time, each and every time.
The DEV mode SDK fix is working now for me.
I tried to do the same flight that would always crash and it’s fixed now.
Start the sim → Options → Turn on dev mode → Update SDK → Turn off dev mode.
Restart the sim and enjoy.
For me the plane also seem to be a factor in the CTDs. E.g. when I fly the LVFR A321 with the Horizon Mod I never can complete flight. On the other hand with PMDG 737 the sim seems to run just fine and doesn’t crash.
I had 5+ hours of great flights last night. No crashes, tried different planes (default as well as FBW, Blacksquare), and one long ~3hr flight. No issues so far. The instant crash seems to have been fixed with the SDK update, but of course there may be other things causing the sim to crash for some people.
I’m happy that I can use it again, and it is VERY smooth. The smoothest it’s ever been.
