I managed to do a bit of testing this evening.
I looked into the systems.cfg file as you suggested in this post:
And I found that “max_bank_acceleration” and “max_bank_velocity” were already set to 5.
After flying around for a bit, in both the FADEC and non-FADEC versions, I found the HDG roll oscillations were still there but they seemed to settle out over time…maybe between 10 and 20 seconds and the aircraft was flying smoothly on the new heading. This behavior was consistent regardless of wind settings. Going back to the stock DA60, the AP locks on to the requested heading smoothly.
To be honest, while I do like cruising around using the heading knob, this doesn’t break the game for me or anything. It’s just odd.
Higher on my wishlist is for the HOTAS throttle axis to be functional for the FADEC version!
