I notice this plane doesn’t have an effective way of reducing speed while descending. It just doesn’t want to lose speed without a level off. Setting the throttle idle blasts me with CHECK GEAR warnings. Am I missing something?

Personal Comments and Observations

Much like the Vision Jet, the DA62 is tolerant of gear extension at high speeds (I believe the POH lists VLE at 205 knots), so you can always throw out the anchor that way.

That’s what I end up doing anyway
Also, is there a way to connect ground power? I lose my battery very quickly during pre-flight preparations before starting the engines.

Well, for the Vision Jet, we cobbled it using the Keybind “Toggle External Power” - I assigned that to the rarely used R-SHIFT key. You could try it and see!

you are the first person to ask that lol.
i totally forgot about that and ill add it in soon.

Hi,
I’ve been using the old version daily for I don’t know how long. I tried this latest version and I have no control over the ailerons with my joystick. The auto pilot has. I use SPADneXt.

I’ve reverted to the older version and that works as it should.

Same here. I have elevator, rudder and throttle, etc., with my peripherals, but no aileron. Guess I’ll just park it till it’s fixed.

I have the same problem with AxisAndOhs and the latest version of the mod (v0.9.9.9).
For now I’m using the internal configuration of MSFS for the ailerons which works well.

what is SPADnext and AxisAndOhs?

External programs to manage controllers, usually to allow commands that don’t have keybinds.

ok, thing is, nothing has changed. K events havnt been touched.

Agree, no ailerons anymore if assigned externally. Something has happened there.

what inputs are you guys sending to the game?

I am having this issue also. I am using SPAD.neXt and all worked correctly with the previous version of the DA62X Improvement Mod (v0.9.1.1)
Have tried sending the standard Axis “AILERONS” and also using custom axis to send “AXIS_AILERONS_SET”, “AILERONS_RIGHT” & “AILERONS_LEFT” to find the issue but none of these cause any change in aileron position. Elevators are still functional as before.

“K:AXIS_AILERONS_SET” and “K:AILERON_SET“ is what is being watched (listened to)

what would happen if you didn’t use spadnext for the normal control axes?

The problem I’m having is the PFD is not showing. I have the G1000 nxi. It worked with the version before.
