It‘s all good, servers are functioning as they should, all KPIs in the green
I already had low expectations for this stream and they’ve managed to disappoint even more.
It seems like they’re trying hard to blame the problems on the users and dodge more pertinent questions. The worst of all is not acknowledging the excessive VRAM usage and saying an RTX 4090 with 24GB of VRAM being VRAM limited is a ‘‘normal hardware limitation’’.
Nice way to give the community the middle finger…
ugh working title special guest. they should have special guests delayed until the sim is better in 4 months or more
Gotta get that 5090 with 32GB of VRAM apparently, just so you can be “hardware limited” by that too.
Then they will find other reasons to gaslight you
I have 350 Mbit bandwidth, a $3000 computer. I won’t comment, they’re making another untrue claim.
I’m shocked at some people’s behaviour, fine if you are annoyed at bugs, report issues etc, but that doesn’t justify people to be rude, come with personal insults or misbehave in other ways, just makes me sad.
Not many products out there have Q&A sessions like we have in MSFS, it’s something I really appreciate and something we should not take for granted.
IMO if your system requirements list 12GB VRAM as your “Ideal” spec, then in no way should people be hardware limited by 12GB of VRAM.
See it like this, people are disappointed because they love the product and it is their hobby. They care about the platform and they want it to be good. Easy to be very frustrated in times like these. It is because they care, not because they hate.
True, but when you want answers and they dodge a lot around then what else do you expect. People are just people, dont be surprised and think here it’s different.
It doesn’t justify the behaviour from some people though..
I didn’t know about the flight simulator website that the WT guy is showing us. Looks interesting.
It’s much better here actually. Twitch chats are usually pretty toxic, even in the best of times. It’s not even limited to just MSFS Twitch streams.
Let me get this right, we have to wait 4-6 months for aircraft in a flight sim game to be fixed?
Where did you get 4-6 months? Have Jorg or team said that?
It’s ironic they talking about EFB and flight planner when half of the default planes can’t even read or import this flight plan. None of the iniBuilds planes is integrated with in-game planner.
Yes, I mean here as in twitch. I have it on in the background, just listening. I dont like those live chats much (for that reason)
Q2 for sim updates = beggining April 2025
The flight planner website is pretty good, they did a good job on it for a first iteration.
The default flight planner has the potential to make Simbrief dispensable, but it still has a long way to go.
As you mentioned, the main problem is that not even default aircraft have the option to import flight plan from it.
