Parts of Vorarlberg (State in Austria) got brand new satellite imagery from this summer! I was mad about the old and terrible images after WU Germany/Austria/Switzerland and even filed a complaint in Zendesk. Some of the mountainous areas are still bad, but at least the Rhine valley is now much better!

No problem. Am only flying in 2D so had not made the connection to the VR issues. However the problem is still there this morning flying a mod free set up so I guess might be related. Will investigate furtherā¦

Regarding the weather system updates, there is a significant flaw regarding wind direction! MSFS does not take into account that wind direction from METAR are TRUE and not MAG! Meaning, if you would fly at a place with 90 degrees magnetic variation, the wind is 90 degrees wrong.

from the beginning the whole weather topic is a one and only bug ā¦ hope they will solve it ā¦ you also have temperatures of 02/10 ā¦ OMG ā¦
And also a real issue since a ver long time is the runway selection in the menuā¦ most of the time wrong direction for the actua wind ā¦ as well in ATC often the AI traffic landing in the wrong direction ā¦ but as Asobo told us, a big improvNCE IN ai traffic, ATC and weather ā¦yup..
I just wanted to mention (for fairness) that they did not only break the mouse on the menu and clickspots, they also fixed some mousy things:

The āzombieā mouse: When leaving the pointer on a switch or knob, the mouse would play dead after a few seconds so you had to wiggle the mouse to wake it up. Very annoying. Fixed in SU7.

The function of and response to the mouse wheel has been improved - I can now flip switches properly and rotate encoders much more precises, that was also very annoying before.
This is the first time the mouse interaction (minus the new bugs) feels good in FS2020 (to me, cruddy standard MS mouse, nothing fancy).

Iām playing on Xbox. After buggy update of SU7 I wanted to check the whole game again after reinstall. But now I donāt have my logbook. I drop from 100h to 28 minutes!!! Logbook has only few positions when I tried SU7. Iām just tired about that. Can someone help?
PC: Performance in 2d no big change. 3d: Performance not that good anymore. Moving the head a bit faster, I can see the black mask again. (G2 / gti1080)

Using the game controller works fine. You can always get a flight stick or yoke. The new Boeing one looks fantastic .
The bonus on console controller, it has rumble feedback. I would love it if they offered a force feedback joystick option in the future.
Can you explain that a little clearer?
You donāt have your log book where? Main page before flight or in game flying?
I like the new clouds, there is actual movement to them as they dissipate, yes it can cause some banding as it changes but I like the effect. I also see more variety in textures as well as density.
The haze might be a little too much at times, they need to increase visibility a bit more.
Overall I think itās going in the right direction.

The SU7 update came with Helsinki photogrammetry modeling. For some reason, this really made the trees oversized.
When I turn off the Helsinki photogrammetry, the trees in Helsinki are of normal size and realistic.
How can the height and size of the trees be reduced when using Helsinki photogrammetry?
Live weather isā¦ settings reset, mouse bug, ATC bug, IFR planā¦ some stuff broken andā¦
SU6 now is like heavens now. Too bad need to wait until feb/march 2022 in order to play the sim.

think it is fog ā¦ ?! look at the dewpoint !!! hahahaha ā¦ nevertheless to much fog or mist or haze ā¦ we will see what will happen in the future ā¦ there is a lot to repair ā¦ 
I now cant use my mouse in GPS map in VR or move the map, or use the mouse in ATC in VR since SU7 and you think it`s OK to wait till Feb 22 to sort it. Ever heard of a hotfix?
