Are you using FSUIPC or Spad.next for your controls?
Biggest issue I see with this update is the WASM being broken.
Any custom models in the modellib are no longer loaded as objects in the SDK, they are simply labelled as unknown. They seem to have completely changed the file system
Thatās really weird. That must be a bug
Well, its quite a big bug for content creators as there can be no further development from today
Yeah thatās a huge issue. Does it relate to the ānot installedā issue in content manager? I donāt know how different the file systems for those two are, maybe they are the same in terms of structure?
For sure theres a connection. So all the advise about wait for content creators to update their mods is like you may as well be talking to a brick wall until we find out whats going on
They should for sure release a hot fix for that asap.
The stuttering and chugging everyone is reporting is caused, I think, by being near other players who are using liveries that you do not have installed. I tested and confirmed this with a friend of mine who I fly with all the time. I used a livery he doesnāt have, and he got the horrible stuttering performance. I switched to one he does have, and all was well. Nothing else changed. I submmitted a Zendesk ticket for it, hopefully you all will too. This is a very bad bug.
I think the Poll results should be made public once you vote, hiding them to Staff only is a bit secretive.
These posts, while they may feel good to make, are, to be perfectly honest, useless. In order to diagnose the issue there needs to be so much more information. System specification, resolution, other programs running on your system, in game settings, etc, etc, etc. What you present is simply not enough to accurately gauge what is going on with your game or your computer. The reasons why it runs well for most and not well for others is hard to pin down but there are reasons. Itās not a conspiracy or a plot, itās a simple exercise in deductive reasoning. Problems like this can be solved but the data to solve them is lacking.
having flown now around in 1.15.7 for more than 1 hour I give only 1 point on both performance questions of the poll since obviously multiplayer messes things up as mentioned herein and elsewhere already. I am connected with a rather fast 250mbit line and to the West EUR server at 22ms and still at airports (both departure and arrival) have a stuttering slide show. since I disabled MP all very smooth though.
Yes, I had to revert to a non-LVAR SPAD profile for the Arrow. No biggie, it works just as well, but puts more traffic through SimConnect.
I think you and me were just talking on Discord about this as well.
Here is my post further above: Discussion + Poll: World Update IV (1.15.7.0) - #560 by ATPL2006
I can only encourage people to send this to zendesk.
Please forgive if this sounds elementary, but if you have never tried panning the aircraft outside, a minimum of two revolutions, especially when there is new scenery, it can increase fps substantially. Especially since your frames smoothed out when free from airport, itās worth trying.
Iām seeing much improved framerates over densely populated areas following these latest updates. Iām running an HP Omen G15 Laptop I7-10070 with RTX_2070-MaxQ with 16gb Ram hooked up to a UltraWide 3840-1200 display and getting 35fps plus now over London and Paris whereas I was lucky to get over 20fps before. So for me a huge performance improvement. Thank you Asobo/MS youāve made my day!
thx but I know this even though panning around wasnāt even necessary on my rig in the past. this time itās more than just slight stutters when possibly loading some scenery, itās literally pausing every second for a second with the download circle bottom right spinning almost all time. and again, it went away once I disabled MP. will fly now without it until MS finds a fix
Yep, disabling works. Or set group only instead of live players or all players.

thx, voted and already zendesked it to MS
I just hate when I overlook the basics. But yes, the windows indicator for bandwidth to catch up does sound like this update has a glitch associated with MP. Thanks
