Wheres the CPU performance fix and the mixture fix (on the baron / sirrus) mentioned in the last Q and A? .mixture fix isnt in the patch, just tried it with the baron

my update also hangs at 0.1.63 fspatch002
I have the Microsoft store app set to not auto install updates, and when I launched the game this morning MSFS gave a message that I needed to update the app in the MS store before playing, and the game closed.
I then disconnected my PC from the internet, launched the game again and was able to play without downloading the update.
I have satellite internet with data caps, and when I need to update I have to lug the PC to a friend’s house - this appears to be a workable solution to the problem of forced updates. Hope it helps someone else.

In the days leading up to the patch, if you look in your content manager, you’ll see a bunch of packages that need updating, but can’t because they require a higher version of the base engine that you currently have. I suspect that 1.5 GB is the core part of the game that gets downloaded, then it goes and downloads all those other packages, but the installer doesn’t take that into account. Depending on the edition of the game you have, that could add anywhere from 30-50GB to download total.
At least that’s what I suspect is going on.

First of all what cpu are you using and gpu? I am also not sure if the performance update even made it to this update.

Looks great, lots of important fixes here! Liveries fixed, lighting fixed, 787 engine overpowered fixed, nav data updated, bank oscillation fixed!

Im not sure about the performance, but the fix isnt mentioned in the patch notes.
And the TAA is mentioned , was it changed again this patch? It was already in the last patch.
Edit: The TAA is only mentioned in the forum update, not in the patch notes in the launcher.
Might be something to do with the ‘sensibility curve methodology’

Just did a quick flight and I didn’t notice any difference at all. My GPU is better than my CPU too so I am limited by my main thread.

I had a 1.40 gig update and all files in content manager show as up to date, so something else is happening to some folks
