I noticed that there isn’t a main discussion thread about DLSS on this forum. Every time a new DLSS version is released, someone starts a new thread, and after a while, these threads become outdated and all the valuable tips and feedback get scattered across many different threads. That’s why I deci…

New DLSS 310.9.16 available. https://modsfire.com/LSF1b2ZnwZimmWa If you also need Streamline, the version below is 2.14.1 https://modsfire.com/8dJSG8Izx9g08GU

Same here on PC and SU7 beta. No noticeable differences with the new driver and eagerly waiting for the 13th when sim updates to take advantage of DLSS 4.5.

The new DLSS Frame Generation options (Dynamic Mode and up to 6*) are available with the latest driver and Sim Update 7 Beta. Dynamic mode is working well for me so far. These aren’t settings I usually fiddle with so I can’t reliably remember whether the options only appeared when I updated the dr…

Curious how you can run 5k with just 16GB VRAM. How much native FPS do you get and which DLSS preset do you use?

In cruise right now > DLSS “quality” in-sim setting (removed the Nvidia forced preset K today) and it shows 70-75 FPS with AMD FSR 1.1 @ 2x limited to 40FPS. (so 35 ish native). I don’t chase FPS so I rarely watch these stats. Max frame rate set 40 with 2x FSR gives me excellent visual quality and…

So having tried all the dlss5 options (Shortfuse - manual install or RHI, optishade, optiscaler), observation is: performance wise; Optishade or Optiscaler wins. With fg works very well. But quality is less impressive RHI - combining with single clicks for shortfuse, easy switch to latest DLL’s, a…

Great news! New NVIDIA DLSS 5 on October 16th gets 2X faster with 20% lower VRAM usage. https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-dlss-5-gets-2x-faster-with-20-lower-vram-usage-now-10x-faster-than-march-demo

Is DLSS 4.5 by default in SU7 now? How do you know what DLSS version you are using?

DLSS 4.5 starts with version 310.5, so you need 310.5 or newer to take advantage of DLSS 4.5. SU7 DLSS 310.6.0 (DLSS 4.5) [image] Latest DLSS 310.9.16 https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/dlss-main-thread-feedback-and-tips-discussion/761814/512?u=tenpatrol [image] KevinSull: How do you know…

Your a legend, thank you buddy. Think I’lk stick with native for now as I’d imagine this does effect performance right? Performance I can’t afford to lose. lol
