It’s even popping up when traffic is in the sim, so it’s getting triggered by something quite minor.

I can only see 1 or 2 live players and only 1 or 2 ai traffic flying around, even over major cities like NYC and LAX. My friends can’t see me, and I can’t see them.
I spent 4 days with support, and they couldn’t solve it either.
The error pops up but doesn’t solve the almost empty sky issue. I can see a lot of boat labels and many cars but almost no planes.
I forgot to add, the issue started with msfs2020 on an old computer and continued to a new computer I installed msfs2024 on.
Both programs have the same almost empty sky problem.
It all started with msfs2020 around the 1st of October. It was working fine for years until then.
Could my account be corrupted?

No - it’s likely related to the FlightAware data feed sending Live Traffic information to the sim. It’s not about your account in this case.

It’s going off all the time today, and it’s totally destroying the immersion in flights that would otherwise have been fantastic.

Never saw this before today…now I get it consistently. Gonna be a long holiday with these annoying messages constantly appearing.
Also experiencing same issue. no live traffic with recurring message trying to connect
Yea its a shame. However, im the same way. It was actually working for me yesterday before the patch today.
This has been intermittent for me since I installed the program at right after it came out. I had traffic last night but not at all today. And yes, the constant pop up error.
Started happening occasionally, then 50/50, then 
.
Night 4, and now it’s beeping on my screen every 30s - min.
In that time, I’ve:
- Increased rolling cache from 16 to 64 to help with bandwidth in-game (Ethernet - 500mbps UP, / 900mbps DL)
- Enabled & Disabled content from MSFS 2020 + Disable most of World I don’t fly in - again, to achieve 0 lag.
- Turned my Online and ‘Data Connections’ off & on
Playing on XBOX Series X
In game Server: Auto Server (East USA)
I’m keeping the cache on 64, but I’ll change back the rest and follow up. If it ain’t that, you.

Happening to me too over and over again… After I purchased MSFS 2024 Aviator Edition yesterday (for quite some money), I’ve notice that my MSFS 2024 completely renders my Bluetooth headset unusable, that the screens (PDF and MFD) in A320 neo (v2) are filled with huge white rectangles making the aircraft unflyable, and now these annoying popups (while my Internet connection is perfectly fine).

Been flying all afternoon (USA MST) connected to west Europe server and have this message popping up very frequently. I have Aircraft Traffic Type set to real-time online. I have seen a few multiplayer aircraft around.
